      In the Butterfly Park and the Insect Kingdom, the operating timing is from 9.30 am to 7.00 pm. Once you enter into Park, you will get mesmerized with the collection of exotic species, which can be seen only in TV channels. For students, they are recommended to come at least 15 – 30 minutes prior to the starting time and save some time in exploring rather than waiting in queues. Similarly, visitors coming in groups, can reach the earliest and enjoy all the attractions at ease. The last entry is at 6.30 pm. Tourists coming after last entry time, won’t be allowed for the day. They need to plan for another day visit.

      To reach the Butterfly Park, there are more than one transport options available. One can board into the Sentosa Express from Vivo City Lobby L, Level 3 and alight at Imbiah Station. It is one of the convenient ways to reach the location. If not, one can take a bus either Red or Blue line and alight at Imbiah layout. Similarly, there is a cable car facility, which runs from Harbour Front Tower 2 or Mount Faber Station and alights at Imbiah Sentosa Cable Car Station. If you’re out of options, all you need to do is hire a cab from the hotel and arrive at the desired place earlier than others.

      There are three different ticket options provided for tourists. They can choose the suitable one and explore the species at their own pace. The ticket to Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom is relatively cheap when compared to other tourist attractions. Admission Ticket – It is a standard ticket, where tourists can get in and watch all the colourful butterflies and insects without knowing many facts about them. Ticket with Bird Feeding – For bird lovers, they can get this ‘ticket with bird feeding’, which gives a unique opportunity to feed the bird and interact with them. Since there are staffs nearby, you can feed the birds safely and make sure you create a bonding with them. Ticket with 30 min Guided Tour – If you’re a nature lover or bird enthusiast, then you must go for a 30 minute guided tour. It gives you useful insights about different species and their livelihood.       Yes. You can take photographs of the insects.       In the butterfly park, it takes between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes to visit all the attractions, but if you want to get to know some interesting facts about butterflies and insects, you can extend your stay little longer. They give shelter to more than 50 different species, and each one is unique based on its size, colour, appearance, etc. so to understand them, one must need at least 2 hours to explore all the varieties kept in and get a wholesome experience.
