How To Reach Forest Discovery Centre

By Car: Forest Discovery Centre is 9 kilometres away from the city centre of Wassenar. To reach, you will have to travel for up to 17 minutes by taking the Upper Thompson road. 

By Bus: Take a bus and get down at St Margaret Secondary School and the Forest Discovery Centre is 1 kilometre away. You can reach Forest Discovery Centre after walking for up to 20 minutes.

Best Time To Visit Forest Discovery Centre

The best time to visit the Forest Discovery Centre is during the cooler, dry months between March and October. Mornings and late afternoons offer pleasant temperatures for outdoor exploration, allowing visitors to enjoy nature trails, exhibits, and wildlife with fewer crowds.

Tips

• The Forest Discovery Centre is closed on the last Monday of every month, so make sure you plan your trip accordingly. 
• Visitors are expected to not smoke in the premises of the first discovery centre. 
• Singapore is known for the exorbitant fines even for the smallest crimes, so be prepared accordingly. 
• Bubble gum is banned in Singapore, so make sure that you do not carry any when you visit. 
• This discovery centre is not drone friendly so make sure you do not carry any when you plan to visit this place. 
• You will have to walk a lot, so make sure you use a comfortable pair of footwear for your visit to this place.
