What Makes Bali Package Prices Go Up or Down
The cost of a Bali tour package from Bangalore is highly variable, often fluctuating by thousands of rupees even within the same month.
Tourist Season: July to August is Bali's peak tourist season. During this period, the weather is mostly dry and sunny. Mid-December to January also sees a significant surge in visitors due to the Christmas and New Year holidays. Accommodation and flight fares are at their highest during both windows because of strong global demand.
Flight Booking: Avoid booking close to your travel date. Bangalore to Denpasar fares are at their lowest when booked 2–3 months in advance. Try to book mid-week flights. Tuesdays or Wednesdays usually offer cheaper rates.
Fuel Prices: Aviation fuel makes up for 30% to 40% of an airline's total operating expenses. Recent global disturbances have caused a significant spike in jet fuel costs, which has directly pushed airline ticket prices higher.
Upgrades: Going for premium resort rooms on your Bali packages from Bangalore with private pools or private speedboats instead of shared options will increase your total package cost.
Best Time for Bali trip from Bangalore: Weather and Pricing
Most first-time travellers get confused about when to visit Bali because the experience changes with the season. The truth is, there is no single “perfect” time. It depends on whether you want better weather or better prices. Bali stays warm throughout the year, but it has two clear seasons that shape your trip differently.
April to October (Dry Season)
This is the most popular time to visit Bali. The weather is mostly sunny with clear skies and very little rain. Temperatures stay around 27 to 31 degrees, which is perfect for beaches, trekking, surfing, and island trips. Since this is peak season, prices for flights and hotels are usually higher.
November to March (Wet Season)
This season brings light to moderate showers, mostly in the afternoons. It still stays warm with temperatures between 24 and 30 degrees, so travel is comfortable. Bali also looks greener and more scenic, especially in places like Ubud. This is a good time if you are looking for lower prices and fewer crowds.
One of our travelers from Bangalore, Divya Krishnamurthy, traveled in April 2026 and booked the Bali Romantic Journey | Discovering Highlands, Heritage & Hideaways. They appreciated the time and the Ubud, especially the misty mornings, and said, “We specifically wanted a property in Ubud rather than the beach areas, and Thrillophilia found us a villa with a private pool overlooking the rice terraces. Sitting there with coffee on an April morning with the mist still in the valley below is something I keep going back to mentally”
What to Expect Overall
Rain in Bali usually comes in short bursts, not full-day downpours. Even in the wet season, you can plan most activities with some flexibility. Carrying a light rain jacket helps if you are out during the afternoon. Both seasons offer a different kind of Bali experience, so it really depends on your travel style.
How to reach Bali from Bangalore
With direct flight options to Bali, it has become much easier for Bangaloreans to plan a short break or a long weekend escape. The travel time is around 6.5 hours with smooth connectivity, so there is no long layover fatigue. Bali offers a mix of luxury, culture, and adventure. You can explore Ubud’s jungles with ATV rides through mud trails and rivers, or enjoy calm sunset evenings along Seminyak’s coastline. Both experiences fit into one trip easily.
Flying from Bangalore also means no layovers or unnecessary transit stops. You simply depart from Kempegowda International Airport and fly directly to Bali, making the journey simple and time-efficient.
IndiGo operates this route with an average flight time of 6 hours 58 minutes. Flight 6E 1605 departs from Bengaluru Terminal 2 at 1:15 pm IST and arrives in Denpasar at 10:20 Bali time. The timing works well, as you still land with most of the day ahead. In the last 30 days, the flight has mostly been on time, with even a 29-minute early arrival recorded. For budget travellers, this is a reliable option. Other alternatives include AirAsia, Thai AirAsia, and VietJet.
The Direct Dominance: 6.5-Hour Non-Stop Flights to Denpasar (DPS)
Bali is one of the most convenient international getaways from Bangalore, especially for a short vacation. While there are direct flights available on select routes and seasons, most flights from Bangalore to Bali typically involve one stop through hubs like Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, or Bangkok. The total travel time usually ranges between 7 and 12 hours, depending on the airline and layover duration.
One-stop flights are often more affordable than direct options, but longer layovers can make the journey more tiring due to additional transit procedures and waiting time.
For flight bookings, platforms like Skyscanner, Google Flights, or airline websites are commonly used to compare fares. Prices vary significantly based on travel season, booking window, baggage selection, and seat class. In general, one-way fares from Bangalore to Bali can range from around INR 15,000–30,000+, with budget carriers like AirAsia usually offering lower fares on connecting routes.
Digital Entry Mastery: The e-VOA and Electronic Customs
The Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) makes entering Bali much smoother for Indian travellers. By applying online before departure, you can skip long visa queues at Denpasar Airport and, in some cases, even use the automated e-gates.
To apply, you’ll need a passport with at least 6 months’ validity and a return or onward ticket. The e-VOA costs around IDR 500,000 (approx. INR 2,500–3,000), is valid for 30 days, and can be extended once for another 30 days. Travellers also need to complete Indonesia’s online customs declaration before arrival. Note: During immigration, officers check for the payment of the Bali tourist levy. It charges INR 800 to 850 for foreign tourists per person and can be paid through the official Bali government portal.
Choosing Your Balinese Stay: Eco-Luxury and Villa Selection
In any tour, what matters most after a hectic, tight-day itinerary is a peaceful sleep to get charged up for the next day. Your stay shapes the rest of the trip, even if the itinerary is well planned. Each stay differs from traveller to traveller and their itinerary.
Sustainable Sanctuaries: Bamboo Architecture in Ubud
In Bali, bamboo stays are very famous; this stay will give you bamboo architecture and aesthetics, and you will feel closer to nature. Staying in concrete hotels is common, but a resort built in bamboo and teak wood offers a different experience overall.
Bambu Indah – This is located along the Sayan Ridge above the Ayung River. The property is built with bamboo and teak. You will get all the amenities like a 5-star hotel, but all these are made by nature's elements, like a pool made with lava stones.
Equipoise Resort – This is a newer property with bamboo curves, making natural cooling and lower air-conditioning dependency in a tropical climate. This property is 5 to 10 minutes away from the main town.
The Digital Nomad Loop: Premium Stays in Canggu and Berawa
The areas like Canggu offer an affordable lifestyle and international food. At the same time, you can expect heavy traffic due to narrow roads, and it is not walkable.
Berawa is often called the shortcut route. You will get a narrow road with rice fields from Batu Bolong Beach and Jalan Pantai. Berawa has a wide range of cafes and restaurants.
Private Pool Villas: Exclusivity for Bangalore Families and Couples
A private pool villa in Bali is where the destination stands out compared to other international destinations in this price range. With a complimentary breakfast and rice paddy or jungle views. The resorts cost almost a fraction of the other resorts in foreign tourist destinations, with no compromise in privacy and comfort. Bangalore travellers often choose this accommodation rather than a hotel room with a balcony.
In the Ubud Zone, Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is along the Ayung River with limited villa options with private pools and butler service.
For the budget option, Tanah Gajah offers a one-bedroom club pool villa with a private pool, and is also the best rated by the honeymoon couples in this zone. They include complimentary yoga sessions and hot air balloon options.
Places to Visit in Bali
Ubud
Ubud is where Bali slows down and feels more grounded. It is surrounded by rice terraces, jungle pockets, and small villages that still hold on to their traditional lifestyle. Most nature-based experiences like Tegalalang Rice Terraces, Bali Swing, and Tegenungan Waterfall are all within easy reach from here. It also has a calm café culture, making it a good base for a relaxed stay.
Mount Batur (Kintamani)
Mount Batur is one of Bali’s most popular sunrise treks and sits at 1,717 metres above sea level. The hike usually starts around 1 to 2 AM, leading you up an active volcano just in time for sunrise over Mount Agung. It is a simple trek but feels rewarding because of the early start and the views at the top. The surrounding lake views in Kintamani add to the experience.
Tanah Lot Temple
Tanah Lot is a sea temple built dramatically on a rock formation surrounded by waves. It is one of those places that truly changes character with the tide and light. Sunset here is the main highlight when the sky, ocean, and temple all come together in one frame. The area also has small markets around it for a quick local walk.
Uluwatu
Uluwatu sits on cliffs that drop straight into the ocean, giving it some of the best sunset views in Bali. It is also home to the famous Kecak Fire Dance, a cultural performance that blends storytelling, fire, and music. The experience feels more powerful because it happens right as the sun goes down. The nearby beaches are also known for surfing and cliff views.
Nusa Penida
Nusa Penida is a short boat ride from Bali and feels completely different from the mainland. It is known for dramatic cliffs, hidden beaches, and turquoise waters like Kelingking Beach and Angel’s Billabong. The roads can be rough, but the views are some of the most iconic in all of Bali.
Thrillophilia’s on-ground experts make arrangements for your travel beforehand and make it easy for you. Nikhil Gowda from Bangalore booked the Bali Honeymoon Special package in January 2026 and said, “Thrillophilia managed our ferry tickets to Nusa Penida beforehand, so we skipped the long queues at Sanur. A very comfortable and well-managed international holiday.”
Seminyak
Seminyak is more modern and lively compared to other parts of Bali. It is filled with beach clubs, sunset bars, and boutique shopping streets. The coastline here is perfect for relaxed evenings, long walks, and watching the sunset in a more social setting.
Canggu
Canggu has a young, energetic vibe with surf culture at its core. You will find black sand beaches, beach cafés, and a strong digital nomad community. It is ideal for travellers who want a mix of beach time, nightlife, and casual café hopping.

Balinese Vegan Culture and Indian Restaurants
Bali has the most vegan restaurants compared to other places in Southeast Asian destinations. Majorly driven by Ubud's plant-based Hindu offerings.
To make it easy for the travelers, Thrillophilia also offers Bali trip packages from Bangalore that include vegetarian restaurants for people who prefer vegetarian meals.
Ubud - Areas like Monkey Forest Road and Jalan Dewi Sita have cafes and restaurants that offer tempeh bowls, jackfruit curries, and desserts. Our past travellers suggest Biah Biah and Kafe Ubud for all-day, reliable food options.
Traditional Food – Try traditional Balinese sambal and bubu pastes, which contain shrimp paste. You can request the preparation without the shrimp and meat paste too; most of the restaurants in the tourist area provide that.
Indian Restaurants – Saffron, Namaste, and Indian Warung are the trusted and popular choices for travellers for North and South Indian food. You will get familiar spices along with a few Hindi-speaking staff too. For budget Indian meals, go to Kuta Beach, where you can find small dhabas run by Indians for dal, roti, and sabji.

Travel Safety Updates for Bali
Know about these safety tips before booking Bangalore to Bali tour package:

IndiGo and AirAsia operate direct flights on this route. Before booking, check for transit requirement changes from the official airline website.
If planning to trek Mount Batur in the month of April, start around the 2 to 6 AM window, as you will get clear skies. As the time goes into the afternoon, you can expect high chances of rainfall.
Always contact our local guides and ground staff to check the active volcanic status at least 48 hours before you trek.
For a less crowded trip to Bali from Bangalore, try not to overlap with the travel date and festive days of Bali. The Balinese New Year falls in March and April. If planning at that time, the island observes a 24-hour silent day with no arrivals and departures.

We specifically wanted a property in Ubud rather than the beach areas and Thrillophilia found us a villa with a private pool overlooking the rice terraces. Sitting there with coffee on an April morning with the mist still in the valley below is something I keep going back to mentally. Tanah Lot temple at sunset on the last evening was a perfect way to end the trip. Our driver Wayan was excellent throughout and doubled up as an informal guide at every location. Thanks you Thrillophilia for the amazing trip
Namma Bengaluru to Bali — trip tumba tumba chennagittu. The Bali swing over the jungle valley was terrifying in the best possible way. Our villa in Ubud had a private infinity pool overlooking the rice terraces — I spent two mornings just sitting there with coffee doing absolutely nothing. Thrillophilia's coordinator Tanvi had suggested this specific property and she was absolutely right. We have a great family time in Bali. Thanks you Thrillophilia for such a wonderful moments.
I recently booked the Bangalore to Bali and Singapore honeymoon package through Thrillophilia, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made! From smooth travel arrangements from Bangalore to perfectly planned stays in Bali and Singapore, everything was handled flawlessly. The itinerary struck a great balance between relaxation and exploration, making our honeymoon truly unforgettable. The team was super responsive and ensured we had a hassle-free experience throughout the trip. Thanks to Thrillophilia, we created memories that we'll cherish for a lifetime!
Escaping the Bangalore traffic for the tranquil rice terraces of Tegallalang was heaven. The Bali package from Thrillophilia was brilliantly designed, especially the private pool villa in Ubud. Our driver, was a gem and knew all the best local warungs for Babi Guling. Everything from the Denpasar airport pickup to our sunset dinner at Jimbaran Bay was handled with absolute professional care.

Local Arrangements were well planned.
Local driver support could've been better.
Drivers knew the area but lacked customer support. Drivers are our acting guides, they have to be informed about our days itinerary so that we don't miss any visits of the day. We unfortunately missed our Sari Baku as our drivers didn't tell us about it. Otherwise, everything went well.
The transition from the beach clubs to the spiritual heart of Bali was surreal. The package was very balanced, giving us enough rest between water sports and temple tours. Hotels were clean and the staff was incredibly hospitable throughout the 6-day tour. Truly a professional tour management by the Thrillophilia team and special thanks to reavi for creating such an amazing ittineary.
Traveling from Bangalore, I wanted a mix of party and peace. This tour delivered both. The transition from the Kuta nightlife to the quiet cliffs of Uluwatu was seamless. Thrillophilia managed our ferry tickets to Nusa Penida beforehand, so we skipped the long queues at Sanur. The hotels were premium and the breakfast spreads were fantastic. A very comfortable and well-managed international holiday.
I recently travelled to Bali. I took a tour package from Thrillophilia. I'm very happy with the overall package and experience I had. Booking experience, guidance on the places to visit, accommodation, internal commute within Bali, and the various activities I participated in were well planned and executed.
