Brouwerij ‘t IJ is a renowned brewery famous for its signature home-brewed beers. The Brouwerij 't IJ brewery, located next to the Molen de Gooyer, a historic wooden windmill, has been brewing world-famous beers since 1985. It has gained popularity over time and is currently among the most well-known brands of Dutch speciality beers in the Netherlands. Your favorite brews, such as Zatte, Columbus, Natte, Strius, and Ijwit, are all produced in this little brewery.
The terrace at Brouwerij 't IJ is a popular gathering place for Amsterdam residents where they may relax with a drink and a snack while taking in the scenery. The brewery has two tasting rooms, Proeflokaal de Molenunder in the bath house and Proeflokaal 't Blauwe Theehuis at the Vondelpark, where guests may sample exquisite beers.
The brewery also offers 20-minute guided tours from Friday to Sunday in English (3:30 pm) and Dutch (4:00 pm) and private Tours (after 6:00 pm) that let visitors discover the historical background of the brewery, the brewing process, and sample a superb beer. Although there is no charge for the tour, you are free to afterwards determine its worth.
