By Train: From the central stations, train lines 170 and 172 will take you to the Amsterdamse Bos.

Museumtram: This is a rather unique and fun way to get to Amsterdamse Bos. The train departs from the Haarlemmermeer station and will take you straight to the gates of Amsterdam forest.

Best Time To Visit

The best time to visit Amsterdamse Bos is during the months of April – early June. The weather remains the most pleasant during this time of the year, and you can witness the Tulips in their full bloom during your visit here. Moreover, there are less tourists to deal with so you will find Amsterdamse Bos mostly at your own disposal. Since Amsterdamse Bos is best experienced in isolation, it is advisable to avoid going there during the peak summer tourist season.
