The backwaters were much larger than I expected. Gliding through on the houseboat from Alleppey watching locals fish, women making coir by the canal, children waving from the banks it felt like seeing Kerala from the inside rather than as a tourist. Fresh fish was brought to the boat by a local fisherman in the morning and the crew cooked it for lunch. That fish curry on a banana leaf while floating on Vembanad Lake that is the kind of thing that stays with you. Thrillophilia had chosen a good property and the crew was attentive and friendly throughout. Munnar tea estates and Athirappilly falls made the rest of the trip equally good.

Great team. The houseboat experience in Alleppey was the highlight. Hotels were neat and the driver was cooperative throughout. Would book again.

The documentation for our first trip to Kerala was handled entirely by the team, making the process very easy for my elderly parents. We had a very comfortable experience and the hotels selected were very senior-friendly. The Munnar resort had an amazing view of the tea estates and the weather was lovely. The coordination on the ground was excellent and we never faced any delays with our vehicle or tours.
