About Shree Ganesh MandirAlso known as “Tekdicha Ganpati,” this ancient temple holds great value for locals of Nagpur. It is believed that the shrine is self-existent and increases in its size gradually over a period of time. Most of Nagpurians visit this temple regularly which is said to be 250 years old.
The temple name Tekdi Ganpati - meaning Ganpati of the hills has been derived from its location “tekdi” which means hills in the Marathi language. For devotees of Ganesha, this temple is one of the major places to visit in Nagpur.
