How many islands are there in Sundarban?
The entire Sundarban delta region comprises a group of 102 islands in total, comprising an area of about 40,000 square kilometers. Out of these 102, 54 islands are inhabited, while 48 of them are forested.
What are Sunderban National Park safari timings and charges?
Sundarbans can be explored anytime between sunrise and sunsets. No one is allowed to enter the Park after sunset or before sunrise. Below are the timings of the safaris in the Sundarban National Park:
Boat service is available from 8:30 in the morning till 4:00 in the evening. All boats should return by 6:30 PM. No boat services are allowed to go into the mangrove after 6:30.
Safaris are available on all days of the week.
Both AC and non-AC boats are available and large and small ones too.
Night safaris are also available for viewing the phytoplanktons.

How many tigers are there in Sundarbans?
The Sundarbans is the only mangrove in the world where tigers thrive. The area is spread over West Bengal and Bangladesh and there are about 200 tigers in the region. How can I go to Sundarban?
