About Gomukh

Situated at an altitude of 4,000 meters (13,123 feet) in the Gangotri National Park, Gaumukh is a popular pilgrimage and trekking destination. The trek to Gaumukh starts from Gangotri, a revered Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Ganga, covering a 19-kilometer trail through scenic landscapes, including Bhojbasa, the last stop before the glacier.
