David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Nursery Overview
Bordering the Nairobi National Park, the very popular David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Nursery is aimed at rescuing orphaned baby elephants from reserves and parks and offering them a safe shelter. This nursery takes care of the baby elephants and hand rears them until they are mature enough to be put back into the national parks and wildlife reserves.

On your visit to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Nursery, you can spend time watching the elephants, bathing them, feeding them, playing with them, and taking an elephant safari. You can also adopt an elephant at a small cost per year and the nursery will give you an adoption certificate and keep you updated about the status of the animal.
