The University of Vienna (Universitat Wien) is the oldest university in Austria, located in Vienna. It is one of the oldest universities in the modern German-speaking world, founded by Duke Rudolph IV in 1365. Discover Natural History Museum Vienna Collection of Anatomical Pathology

Travellers can discover the Natural History Museum Vienna Collection of Anatomical Pathology, which is home to the cylindrical Narrenturm. It is also one of the oldest mental health institutions in the world.

It was founded in 1784 to take care of mentally challenged people. This building served as the home of the Federal Pathological-Anatomical Museum in 1971. In 2012, the pathological-anatomical collection in the Narrenturm was incorporated into the Natural History Museum Vienna. However, the building was completely renovated and reopened with a new display of the collection in 2020.
