One of the most stunning bridges in the city, Oberbaum Bridge is considered to be a symbol of division between East and West Germany. The bridge constructed from 1894 to 1986 is one of the oldest lines in the city and was damaged in the second world war. The bridge was reconstructed in the 19th century to function as a city gate just like the old bridge.
Witness the towers of the bridge which are decorated with a bear and an Eagle after Berlin and the state of Brandenburg. At present, the bridge has pedestrian walkways where you can witness many street musicians. Some of the most popular activities here are sightseeing experiences and bike tours.
