Fyksesund Overview

Fyksesund is a fjord located in the Kvam municipality in Norway. This fjord is a part of the Vestland country and has a total length of up to 11 kilometres. In fact, this fjord is a part of the main fjord known as Hardangerfjorden. 

It is located between villages of Oystese and Alvik and is located amidst the Fykse Sound Landscape park. From trying out your luck in fishing to even taking a guided tour of the fjord, there is a lot worth trying out.

In fact, exploring the fjord on a guide tour is known to be an exciting experience too. This is because you will be travelling between two majestic mountains and will be surrounded by the best of nature. Out of all the landmarks here, the Fyksesund bridge is also a prominent one as it is more than 100 years old and is approximately 300 metres long.
