Nyenchen Thangla Traverse Overview
This trek is going through canyons, forested slants, snow capped glades and the fields of the Changtang. The trek starts on the principle street to the Namtso lake, 5km past the Damxung-Lhasa Hwy turn-off. The trail cuts over the relentless Nyenchen Tanglha range and heads straightforwardly for Tashi Do, the praised headland on the southeast shore of Namtso.
