MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART

Located in the People’s Square, the Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai or MOCA Shanghai is a well-known contemporary art museum and one of the famous tourist places in Shanghai. The museum was established in 2005 and it focuses on promoting Chinese and international contemporary art. Along with the art exhibitions, the museum also hosts various talks, seminars, and educational programs that can be attended both by adults and children. On the third floor of the museum, you can also visit the MoCA on the Park, previously an Art Lab, which is a restaurant with a bar and rooftop patio.
