Coal Hill Park Overview
An imperial park that expands over 23 hectares of large land used to be known as the Coal Hill Park, is the focal point of the Forbidden City. It is known as the Jingshan Park, it forms the private garden for the Imperial royals and serves their pleasure times. The park was formally established in 1949 and is listed as the Key State Park for the Zicheng dynasty. Due to its relevance, Coal Hill Park is considered to hold significant presence among the other tourist attractions in Beijing.
