DUTHIE PARK

The Duthie park was a gift from Miss Elizabeth Crombie Duthie to Aberdeen city and was opened in 1883. The park is loved by the locals and visitors equally as they are greeted by wonderfully restored Victorian landscapes, fountains and boating ponds. The Park also has separate play areas and is regarded as one of the best indoor gardens in the entire UK.

The Duthie park is a very picturesque and beautiful experience including the world-renowned Winter Gardens. It is considered to be one of the topmost in the gardens and is decorated by rare and exotic plants brought over from all around the world. It is also one of the largest indoor gardens in Scotland and in the UK and has an impressive collection of succulent plants, especially cactus. The garden also features a temperate house, Tropical house and has beautiful locations like the Victorian corridor, corridor of perfumes, the fern house and the beautiful Japanese Garden. The ornamental ponds, Beautiful flower beds, concerts at the bandstand, boating and among the various fun activities for visitors to explore during the visit.
