You do not need more than five nights and six days to cover the islands. The three main destinations – Port Blair, Havelock Island, and Neil Island (in South Andaman) – can be covered within this time. However, if you are visiting for four days and three nights, then restrict your itinerary to Port Blair and Havelock Island. The Andaman and Nicobar Tour Package from Jaipur has 3N/4D and 5N/6D tours to suit your needs. You can select the amount of time you would like to spend as per the package.
The best time to visit Andaman and Nicobar Islands is from October to May. The monsoons have descended, and when it comes to adventure, then the watersport activities are at their zenith. However, here is a season-wise layout for you to plan your trip better:
In summers (April – July) The temperature of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands during summers ranges from 24 – 37 degrees Celsius. The afternoons are comparatively hotter, but the beaches are vivified with people engaging in surfing and other water sport activities during this time.
In winters (October – March) The temperature of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands during winters ranges between 20 – 30 degrees Celsius and form a pleasant environment for sightseeing. In fact, this is the peak season of tourist influx on the islands. The crystal clear waters are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving.

Naturally, being close to the sea, seafood is prevalent in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. However, contrary to popular belief, the Andamanese do not have their own cuisine. Yes, the eloquent beaches, enriched marine life, and history of the place have made it a popular tourist attraction. The ferry rides make it cheap and convenient to travel to and from the place.
