Highfields Park Overview

The 21-hectare Highfields Park is one of the places to go in Nottingham that boasts numerous impressive trees, rare plants, and a variety of water elements. There are a number of things to do right there, such as renting a boat and exploring the lake, playing adventure golf or croquet, entertaining the kids at the playground, enjoying a meal at the cafe, or checking out one of the many performances at the Lakeside Arts Centre.

The University of Nottingham's campus is the gem of the city, featuring a vast lake that is lovely to stroll about and often considered to be one of the best places to visit in Nottingham. During the warmer months, you can enjoy the lake by rowing out to it in a boat. This is the best method to explore the rest of this beautiful park. The Trent Building is magnificent, and it has a view of the park. This picturesque area of Nottingham also provides plenty of photo ops, perfect for sharing on social media platform. The lake can be crossed on stepping stones or a little waterfall, so keep an eye out for both!
