About Cross Bath

It is a historic pool that has been qualified as a Grade I listed building in the National Heritage List for England. The pool sits on its own spring source in the centre of the city and has thermal waters with medicinal properties. The water present underground is rainwater percolated through limestone aquifers to a depth of 4300 metres under the Earth’s surface.
Due to the high pressure and temperature, the water heats up to 96oC and is taken to the treatment plant where the water is cooled down to a comfortable 35oC. The Cross Bath has changing facilities and can be booked for private sessions as well. You can also avail spa treatments for massages that alleviate your pain.
