Dedicated to the Sun God Surya, Chitragupta Temple was built in the 11th century, carrying remarkable architectural styles. The temple hosts a partially ruined 7 feet tall statue of Surya riding a chariot driven by 7 horses. Sculptures and carvings of numerous erotic couples, along with the majestic portrayal of Lord Vishnu’s 11 headed form adorn the exteriors of the temple.

Timings: The temple is open to visitors from 05:00 AM to 09:00 PM every day.

Entry Fee: An entry fee of INR 10 per head is charged.

Location: Chitragupta Temple, Rajnagar Rd, Sevagram, Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh.
