Chaturbhuja Temple Overview

Dating back to the early 12th century, Chaturbhuja Temple is another shrine dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the most interesting places to visit in Khajuraho. The name 'Chaturbhuja' refers to Lord Vishnu, and the temple showcases beautiful carvings on the walls. It also houses a majestic 2.7 m tall idol of Lord Vishnu's Chaturbhuja (having four hands) avatar. 

Fairly modest in appearance and structure, the temple is an altar of history and religion.

Timings: The temple is open every day from 5:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Entry Fee: An entry fee of INR 10 per head is charged.

Location: Chaturbhuja Temple, Sevagram, Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh.
