We usually do 2 vacations in a year, 1 in April/May & another in December. It was our dream for quite some time to explore Kashmir-Leh-Pangong, but weren't certain who is the most reliable travel operator who can help us realise this dream. 2 of our family members had visited Kashmir, Leh, Pangong through Thrilophilia & had given excellent feedback to us. This was quite reassuring & we felt confident that it's possible to realise our dream. And so, we began talking to Thrilophilia around August/September 2022 for the travel to be planned for April-May 2023. After several discussions, with the help of Mr Mahesh Singh, we were able to finalize a 10 days travel itinerary covering Srinagar-Gulmarg-Leh-Pangong. After confirming the travel by paying the initial amount, we booked the flight. Our excitement began building up as the travel date neared. Finally, the travel day arrived & we boarded the flight from Kempegowda International Airport, Bangalore headed for Srinagar. The flight landed at Srinagar on time & were welcomed by the smiling, affable Reyaz, our cab driver. He had his nice, well maintained Toyota Innova, in which he took us around for the next 4 days. As we were hungry, Reyaz 1st took us to a small vegetarian hotel in Srinagar for lunch. From there, we 1st went to Shankaracharya Hill via Gupkar road. Coincidentally, that day was also Shankara Jayanti & we felt blessed to start on an auspicious note. After that, we went to Dal lake, hired a Shikara, enjoyed the floating market, sipped the hot Kashmiri Kahwa. After that, Reyaz ushered us in at the Aksa hotel, which was spacious, clean, & comfortable. The food also was excellent at Aksa. The next morning, we headed for Gulmarg where we had already booked for the Gondola 🚠🚠 ride. We strode on horseback to reach the place to take the Gondola 🚡 🚠 ride. Reyaz helped us negotiate a good deal for the horse ride. After an awesome Gondola 🚠🚡🚠 ride, riding on snow bikes, few pics, we headed back. As per the itenarary, we were supposed to start for Leh on day 3. Alas!! Destiny had other plans for us. Due to snowfall in Zojila pass, no vehicles were allowed to travel to Leh via Zojila pass. We were crestfallen 😞😞 we were clueless what to do & were extremely worried about our travel plans become affected 😕😕 any way, with no alternative, at least as of day 3, we decided to extend our stay at Srinagar for another day & explore a little more of local sightseeing. Around 10.30 pm on day 3, we got the message that passenger vehicles were likely to be allowed to travel via Zojila pass the next day. All this while, we were frantically trying to salvage whatever we could of our travel, talking to the affable Mr Nitin from travel operations & Rizwana from the field operations. Both of them are professional, available, responsive, eager to help, & empathetic. This is critical because during times of such grave uncertainty, their experience & helpfulness is what is needed the most. So, we started at around 4.30 am after a quick shower. Passing through Srinagar city in the early hours of rainy morning, we reached Sonamarg around 7.30 am. With a long queue of several vehicles standing ahead, we were quite unsure what was going on 🤔🤔 Our driver Reyaz quickly ascertained that the roads were closed due to snowfall & that we would have to wait at the truck stand. With rains pouring constantly & winds making it colder, we struggled to keep ourselves warm with tea & hot maggi. Finally, around 2 pm, Reyaz jumped shouting - khul gaya, gaadi chod rahe hai 😀😀 after negotiating the jam, we headed out of Sonamarg, en route to Zojila. We were engulfed by the breathtaking mountains & the snow all around. As we were passing through Zojila, our car developed puncture in 1 of the tyres & had to change tyres on Zojila, even as snowfall continued unabated. Finally, we continued our journey, albeit slowly, & reached Drass. Along the way, we were spellbound by the breathtaking scenery all around. At Drass, we stopped to visit the Kargil War Memorial. The bravery of our soldiers, their discipline, love & respect for our people, the commitment to serve our Nation, has to be experienced to believe. Grateful to our soldiers for everything they have to endure, while serving our Nation 🙏🙏 after paying our respects at the memorial, we headed to Kargil to rest for the day. We started towards Leh in the morning from Kargil, after a sumptuous breakfast & hot tea ☕☕ After visiting a few beautiful places such as Lamayuru along the way, we finally reached the outskirts of Leh by evening. We stopped at the Hall of Fame in Leh, for the sound & lights show by our Indian Army. It was just amazing 👌👌 We reached Hotel Kyon Tso at Leh around 8 pm. After dropping us, Reyaz bid us goodbye.

It was really a great trip of 8 nights and 9 days , drivers were very kind both in ladhak and kashmir , Stay places were clean and neat specially rooms as well as houseboat at kashmir was fab . I would definitely recommend Thrillophila for ur travel plans 😊

Enjoyed 9 days in Ladakh trip and the view is amazing. The view at Pangong lake is just amazing.Sangam view point is wow beautiful.

Starting with the leh city for 1st 2 days, then to nubra, then pangong, back to leh, going to sonamarg, then srinagar. A well planned itinerary with things so much organized that no one can doubt that a third party app can plan so well! It seemed like it was planned by a person who is so much of our well wisher! Everything went so smooth, with utter happiness and so much of fun! That no where in those 8 days we felt that anything ever got missed! Thanks to the team and ground support who gave their best support and efforts to make and provide the best out of what we gave! It was one of the best trips i have ever been to! That’s my first solo trip *no doubt everything was amazing and beautifully planned *our group suffered a bit , which can be managed easily , * hotel staff was very helpful and kind and also the taxi drivers *camp facilities are damn amazing and also the food was good , deliver everything as expected. *my first experience with thrillophilia is really amazing and looking forward for more trips with your company  *thanku😇

Manali to Leh, Pangong , Nubra back to Leh & return to Manali is very rich rout of nature's buaty especially for bick Riders.. worth efforts.
