A dream come true in the dreamland of Spiti. “Spiti” the middle land bared herself in front of us in her myriad colours, towering needle-pointed peaks, waterfalls cascading down the rocky walls, little patches of green surrounded by the wilderness of barrenness, roads cutting across avalanches and glaciers peeking through snow-covered peaks, yaks, sheep and horses grazing the grasslands around Chandratal; Spiti looked like the brushstrokes of a painter.
