Spiti Valley Holiday Packages from Nagpur

Spiti Valley, often called “Little Tibet of India”, offers a thrilling escape for travellers from Nagpur looking for a unique getaway. While Nagpur experiences hot, tropical weather; Spiti is a high-altitude cold desert with sub-zero temperatures in winters and pleasant summers.

As Spiti is a high-altitude region with most places located above 12,000 ft, travellers need to acclimatize gradually to minimize altitude sickness. It is advisable to stay in lower-altitude locations like Narkanda or Rampur before heading to Spiti Valley. Thrillophilia offers customized Spiti Valley tour from Nagpur, covering all aspects of the Spiti trip. From handling logistics, and exploration, to adventure activities like trekking and camping, we have it all covered.

Reaching Spiti from Nagpur requires multiple modes of travel. The quickest way is to take a flight or train to Delhi or Chandigarh, followed by a road journey. For those who love long drives, you can also opt for a road trip from Nagpur. This will take you via Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Himachal Pradesh, though it takes around 3-4 days more.

We ensure a seamless experience for everyone, whether you’re a solo traveller, biker, or group explorer. With our well-planned itineraries and reliable support throughout the journey, you can enjoy your vacation, leaving all worries behind.

Spiti Valley is famous for its rugged landscapes, high-altitude villages, and ancient monasteries. Some of its most famous attractions include:

g. Spiti is also a great place for adventure, you can go for Spiti bike trip or enjoy activities like trekking, camping, and off-road biking.

2. Which is the best month to visit Spiti Valley?
The best time to visit Spiti Valley depends on what travellers want to experience:
a. Summer (May–September): Best for sightseeing, pleasant weather, and open roads via Shimla and Manali.
b. Winter (October–March): Great for snow lovers but extremely cold; only the Shimla route remains open.
c. Monsoon (July–August): Spiti stays dry, but the Manali route may face landslides; the Shimla route is safer.

3. Is there snowfall in Spiti & in what months?
Yes, snowfall occurs from November to March, covering the valley in snow. Only the Shimla route remains open, though roads may close temporarily due to heavy snowfall. Snow-covered monasteries, frozen rivers, and the chance to spot a snow leopard make winter Spiti unique.

4. Which route is better for Spiti from Nagpur?
Travellers can choose between two main routes:
a. Via Shimla: Open all year, offering gradual altitude gain for better acclimatization. The Shimla route is better for first-time visitors or family trips, as it is safer and allows smoother acclimatization.

Spiti Revisited - This Time with My Favorite Person & Thrillophilia 💙 Although I had visited Spiti once before solo, this time I wanted a hassle-free and well-organized experience, especially because I was finally returning to my favorite place with my favorite person. So, my boyfriend and I started looking for group travel options and came across Thrillophilia’s 8 Days Spiti Group Tour (Delhi to Delhi). Booking it was one of the best decisions we made! 🗺️ Change in Plans? Even Better! While Chandratal was originally part of our itinerary, unpredictable weather led to its cancellation. At first, we were disappointed, but Thrillophilia did... Read More

A dream come true in the dreamland of Spiti. “Spiti” the middle land bared herself in front of us in her myriad colours, towering needle-pointed peaks, waterfalls cascading down the rocky walls, little patches of green surrounded by the wilderness of barrenness, roads cutting across avalanches and glaciers peeking through snow-covered peaks, yaks, sheep and horses grazing the grasslands around Chandratal; Spiti looked like the brushstrokes of a painter. Thrillophillia executed this adventure trip to perfection, leaving no scope for complaint. A heartfelt thanks to our Tour Guide, Ms Neetima, and our pilot, Mr. Rakesh, with his extraordinary ...
