Thrillophilia’s Traveller Note

Sanya Malhotra, a traveller from Delhi who booked the Phuket Krabi | A Flights Inclusive DEAL Package in January 2026, said.“We went for a girls' trip from South Delhi and wanted a bit of luxury. The team suggested some of the best beach resorts in Phuket that were right on the sand. It was a bit more than our initial budget, but worth every penny for the service and views we got. The nightlife tour in Patong was safe, and we had a great time without any worries.”

7-Day Phuket + Krabi Itinerary from Delhi

Thrillophilia data to verify all prices against live Thrillophilia inventory.

Day 1: Land in Phuket, Check In, Phuket Old Town in the Evening

  • Pre-book your airport transfer before landing, as metered taxis at HKT are limited.
  • Patong suits groups and solo travellers who want everything within walking distance.
  • Keep the afternoon free and head to Phuket Old Town after 5 PM.
  • Walk Thalang Road and Dibuk Road and eat at Raya Restaurant on Dibuk Road.
  • On Sundays, the Walking Street Market on Thalang Road runs from 4 PM to 10 PM with local food stalls worth stopping at.

Day 2: Big Buddha at Dawn, Phang Nga Bay All Day

  • Leave by 7 AM for Big Buddha on Nakkerd Hill, 45 minutes from Patong.
  • The 45-metre statue is free to visit, and the viewing platform gives you a clear view of both coasts of Phuket simultaneously.
  • Be done by 8:30 AM before the tour groups arrive.
  • The rest of the day goes to Phang Nga Bay, a full-day sea kayaking tour through hollow limestone caves called hongs that open into enclosed lagoons accessible only by kayak at low tide.
  • Ko Tapu, the James Bond Island pillar rock, is in the same bay.

Day 3: Kata Beach, Patong, Simon Cabaret

  • Between October and March, Kata has surf conditions good enough for beginner lessons. Outside that window, swim instead.
  • Head to Patong by 1:30 PM for parasailing and jet skiing directly on the beach.
  • Simon Cabaret on Sirirach Road has shows at 6 PM, 7:30 PM, and 9 PM.
  • Each show runs about 75 minutes.
  • Book the 6 PM or 7:30 PM slot at least a day ahead during peak season.

Day 4: Phi Phi Islands, Sunset at Promthep Cape

  • Speedboats leave for Phi Phi around 7:30 AM.
  • Phi Phi Don has the village and the twin-bay viewpoint, a 20-minute climb worth doing before lunch.
  • Phi Phi Leh has Maya Bay, which reopened in 2022 with a daily visitor cap.
  • Back in Phuket by 5 PM, drive straight to Promthep Cape, the southernmost tip of the island.
  • Get there by 6 PM for the sunset over the Andaman Sea.

Day 5: Transfer to Krabi, Ao Nang, Railay Beach

  • The ferry from Rassada Pier in Phuket to Krabi Town takes 1.5 to 2 hours and is the better option over the road.
  • Check in to Ao Nang and walk the beach in the afternoon.
  • Take a longtail from the northern end of Ao Nang Beach to Railay.
  • Railay has no road access, and that is precisely why it looks the way it does.
  • Spend the evening there and catch the last longtail back around 9 PM.

Day 6: Tiger Cave Temple, Four Islands Tour, Night Market

  • Leave for Tiger Cave Temple by 7 AM.
  • The 1,237-step climb to the summit takes 40 minutes, and the view over Krabi's forest and coastline is worth it.
  • After 9 AM, the heat on the steps becomes a real problem.
  • The tour is a 4 to 5-hour snorkelling trip through calm, clear water.
  • End the evening at Krabi Town's Maharaj Road night market on Fridays and Saturdays, or the Chao Fa Walking Street on other nights.

Day 7: Fly Out from Krabi (KBV) or Phuket (HKT)

  • Krabi Airport is 15 minutes from Ao Nang and connects to Delhi via Bangkok.
  • If your return flight is from Phuket, allow 2.5 hours for the road transfer back to HKT.
  • Exchange any remaining Thai Baht (THB) at street counters in Ao Nang before leaving, as airport rates are lower.
  • Phuket and Krabi packages from Delhi start from INR 25,300 per person on Thrillophilia, with flights, transfers, and accommodation included.

Thrillophilia’s Traveller Note

Charudatta Kulkarni, a traveller from Delhi who booked the Phuket Krabi | FREE James Bond Island Excursion Package in April 2026, said, “Just completed a 6N/7D Thailand trip. It was a great experience. All the activities in the list were completed within the time. Drivers, guides, and hotel staff were helpful. No problem faced anywhere. You can choose Thrillophilia without a second thought. ”

Places to Visit on a Phuket Trip From Delhi

Phuket covers more ground than most people expect, and so does the circuit around it. Here are the places to visit, worth your time.

1. Phang Nga Bay (James Bond Island)

Most people come to Phuket for the beaches and leave wishing they had spent more time on the water. Phang Nga Bay changes that. You take a speedboat into the bay, switch to a kayak, and paddle through limestone rock into a hollow lagoon open to the sky, with Khao Ping Kan, the island from the 1974 James Bond film, sitting in the same bay.

2. Big Buddha

The drive up Nakkerd Hill takes 45 minutes from Patong and the view from the top is the best you will get of the whole island. The statue stands 45 metres tall, built from Burmese white jade marble, and on a clear morning you can see Kata Beach and Karon Beach on one side and the east coast on the other simultaneously. Entry is free, go before 8 AM to have the place to yourself, and cover shoulders and knees at the gate as sarongs are available if you need one.

3. Patong Beach

Patong stretches 1.8 kilometres and packs more into it than any other beach in Phuket, with parasailing, jet skiing, banana boats, and windsurfing operators all directly on the sand. It gets crowded fast from November to February, so before 9 AM is the time to be there. If the crowd level is not for you, Kata is 10 kilometres south, and Karon is 12 kilometres south, both quieter and worth the drive.

4. Phi Phi Islands

The speedboat from Phuket takes 45 minutes, and by the time you arrive, Phuket feels like a different trip entirely. Phi Phi Don has the village, the food, and a 20-minute viewpoint climb that gives you the twin-bay shot that every travel photo of Thailand seems to use. Phi Phi Leh is where Maya Bay is, closed in 2018, rehabilitated, and reopened in 2022 with a daily visitor cap, with water clear enough that the snorkelling stop is worth more than the 20 minutes most boats give it.

5. Phuket Old Town

Phuket Old Town is what the island looked like before the resorts arrived, with shophouses on Thalang Road and Dibuk Road built by Chinese and Portuguese traders in the late 19th century still standing and still in use today. On Sundays, the Walking Street Market takes over Thalang Road from 4 PM to 10 PM with food stalls and local vendors worth two hours of your evening.

6. Krabi

Krabi is 2.5 hours from Phuket, and most Delhi travellers who add it end up wishing they had given it more days. Railay Beach has no road access because the cliffs physically prevent it; the only way in is by longtail from Ao Nang, and that is precisely what keeps it the way it is. Ao Nang covers the hotels, restaurants, and Four Islands snorkelling departures, while Tiger Cave Temple's 1,237-step climb takes 40 minutes and the view from the top is worth every one of them.

7. Kata Beach

Kata is 10 kilometres south of Patong, quieter, calmer, and with crowd levels low enough in the morning to actually spread out. It splits into Kata Yai, the main 1.5-kilometre stretch, and the smaller Kata Noi just over the headland. Between October and March, the northern end has surf good enough for beginner lessons, and outside that window, it is one of the cleaner swimming beaches on the island.

8. Trick Eye Museum

The Trick Eye Museum in Patong has over 100 optical illusion installations where standing in the right spot and being photographed from the correct angle puts you inside the scene. A visit runs about 1 to 1.5 hours and works best as a gap between a beach morning and an evening show rather than a standalone plan. Groups and families with children get more out of it than solo travellers.

9. Phuket Bird Park

Phuket Bird Park in Phuket Town houses over 100 species, including hornbills, macaws, flamingos, and birds of prey, with scheduled shows through the day featuring trained birds in flight rather than the static enclosure format most wildlife parks default to. A full visit with one show takes 1.5 to 2 hours and works well as a morning activity for families with younger children before the beaches fill up.

Thrillophilia’s Traveller Note

Harsh Shingnapurkar, a traveller from Delhi who booked the Phuket & Krabi Delights | A Seaside Romantic Retreat Package in March 2026, said, “Fantastic Phuket & Krabi Trip with Thrillophilia! Our trip to Phuket and Krabi with Thrillophilia was amazing! Everything was well-planned, smooth transfers, great stays, and exciting activities. Phuket had stunning beaches, fun nightlife, and the breathtaking Phi Phi Islands. Krabi was a dream with its clear waters and beautiful islands. The Four Islands tour and Railay Beach were the highlights! We missed our shared transfer to the Emerald Pool, but the relationship manager quickly arranged a private taxi for us and didn’t even charge extra. That level of service was truly impressive! Thrillophilia made our trip stress-free, and we highly recommend them for a Thailand getaway. Looking forward to booking with them again! ”

Things to Do on a Phuket Tour From Delhi

There is no shortage of things to do in Phuket, from open-water day trips to evening shows that run past midnight.

1. Phang Nga Bay Sea Kayaking

Phang Nga Bay sea kayaking takes you by speedboat into the bay, then by kayak through water-level openings in limestone karst formations into enclosed lagoons called hongs, open to the sky with no way in or out except the one you paddled through. Ko Tapu, the pillar rock from the 1974 James Bond film, and Ko Panyi, a fishing village on stilts inhabited since the 18th century, are both part of most full-day itineraries that run approximately 8 hours and include speedboat transfers, a guide, kayaking equipment, and lunch.

2. Phi Phi Islands Day Trip

The Phi Phi Islands day trip covers Phi Phi Don, with the village and twin-bay viewpoint, and Phi Phi Leh, where Maya Bay reopened in 2022 with a daily visitor cap after a 4-year rehabilitation. Speedboats from Phuket take 45 minutes, and most packages include snorkelling stops between the islands with gear on the boat. Booking through Thrillophilia improves your chance of Maya Bay entry, and most boats are back by 4:30 PM to 5 PM, leaving enough time for Promthep Cape sunset on the same evening.

3. Scuba Diving at Similan Islands or Coral Island

The Similan Islands, 84 kilometres northwest of Phuket, offer dive sites from beginner reefs to deeper current walls, while Coral Island (Koh Hae), 10 kilometres south, is the better choice for first-time divers with calm, shallow, year-round visibility. A 2-dive PADI package runs INR 4,500 to INR 6,500 with equipment included, though Similan Islands National Park closes mid-May to mid-October, making Coral Island the reliable alternative during that window.

4. Simon Cabaret Show

Simon Cabaret has been running in Patong since 1991, and the production scale, with large stage sets, multiple costume changes, and a cast of over 30 performers, is not what most first-time visitors expect from a beach town venue. Three performances run each evening at 6 PM, 7:30 PM, and 9 PM, each lasting 70 to 75 minutes, with tickets priced at approximately INR 1,200 to INR 1,800 per person depending on seating.

5. Relax at Kata Beach

Kata Beach sits 10 kilometres south of Patong, split into Kata Yai at 1.5 kilometres and the smaller Kata Noi just over the headland, both significantly quieter than Patong. Between October and March, the northern end has surf good enough for beginner lessons at INR 1,500 to INR 2,000 per person, with beach chairs and umbrellas available on the sand at INR 300 to INR 500 per set.

6. Phuket FantaSea

Phuket FantaSea is a Thai cultural theme park and evening show at Kamala Beach, 10 minutes north of Patong, with doors opening at 5:30 PM, a shopping village, carnival games, and a buffet area running through the evening before the main stage performance starts at 9 PM. The tickets priced at INR 3,500 to INR 5,500 per person.

7. Railay Beach Day Trip from Krabi

Railay Beach is 20 minutes by longtail from Krabi Town at INR 300 to INR 400 per person each way, with no road access because the limestone cliffs make it physically unreachable by land. Railay West has the beach, Railay East has the pier and food stalls, and Phra Nang Beach, a 10-minute walk through a cave from Railay East, is consistently ranked among the most scenic beaches in southern Thailand.

8. Thai Cooking Class

A Thai cooking class in Phuket or Krabi is a 4-hour activity starting with a guided market visit and ending with a sit-down meal of the 4 to 5 dishes you cooked, covering a curry, stir-fry, soup, and dessert, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available at booking. Prices are approximately INR 2,500 to INR 3,500 per person.

9. Sunset Dinner Cruise

A sunset dinner cruise from Chalong Pier covers the Andaman Sea coastline between Chalong Bay and Promthep Cape over 3 hours, departing between 5 PM and 6 PM with most packages including a buffet dinner, unlimited drinks, and live acoustic music. Prices run INR 3,500 to INR 6,000 per person. Chalong Pier is 15 minutes from Patong and 10 minutes from Kata.

How to Reach Phuket from Delhi

1. By Air: Delhi (DEL) to Phuket (HKT)

  • Direct flights from Delhi (DEL) to Phuket (HKT) are operated by Air India and IndiGo, taking approximately 4 hours 30 minutes to 5 hours, with daily frequency during peak season from October to March and slightly reduced frequency during monsoon months from June to September.
  • Round-trip fares on the direct route sit between INR 14,000 and INR 18,000 per person. Booking 1 to 3 months ahead gives you the best fares, particularly for December to February when demand is at its highest.
  • Phuket airport is at the northern tip of the island, with Patong 45 minutes to an hour by road, and Kata about 1 hour 15 minutes. Metered taxis at HKT are limited, so pre-book your transfer before you land.

2. Via Bangkok (BKK): The Budget Routing Option

  • Flying Delhi to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK) on Air India, IndiGo, Thai Airways, or Thai AirAsia takes about 4 hours, after which AirAsia, Thai Vietjet, and Thai Airways connect to Phuket in approximately 1 hour 20 minutes, making it a common and often cheaper alternative to the direct DEL to HKT fare.
  • Bangkok has two airports: international flights land at Suvarnabhumi (BKK) and most budget domestic flights to Phuket depart from Don Mueang (DMK), so if your connections split across both, factor in at least 2 to 3 hours for the road transfer between them.
  • Total travel time via Bangkok is 7 to 10 hours versus 4 hours 30 minutes direct, with a fare difference of INR 3,000 to INR 6,000 per person return. The routing also works well for travellers who want to add 2 to 3 days in Bangkok before flying down to Phuket.

3. Getting Around Phuket and Reaching Krabi

  • Flying Delhi to Bangkok (BKK) takes about 4 hours on Air India, IndiGo, Thai Airways, or Thai AirAsia, with AirAsia, Thai Vietjet, and Thai Airways then connecting to Phuket in approximately 1 hour 20 minutes, often at a combined fare INR 3,000 to INR 6,000 cheaper than the direct DEL to HKT route.
  • Bangkok has two airports: international flights land at Suvarnabhumi (BKK) and most budget domestic flights to Phuket depart from Don Mueang (DMK), so if your connections split across both, allow at least 2 to 3 hours for the road transfer between them.
  • Total travel time via Bangkok is 7 to 10 hours versus 4 hours and 30 minutes direct, but the routing works well for travellers who want to add 2 to 3 days in Bangkok before flying down to Phuket.

Why Book Thrillophilia for Your Phuket Trip from Delhi

Thrillophilia's Phuket packages run on verified operators assessed against a fixed checklist before listing, with every Phuket and Krabi circuit itinerary sequenced around actual ferry timings, transfer windows, and activity slots so nothing conflicts on the ground. Activity partners are selected on ethical grounds, which is why captive dolphin shows do not appear anywhere in our inventory.

On-ground support runs across Phuket, Krabi, and the transfer corridor between them through local contacts who handle airport pickups, ferry rebooking during monsoon disruptions, and activity rescheduling when sea conditions shift. Delhi travellers have 24/7 support from booking to landing back at IGI, around the clock.

Thailand Visa for Indian Travellers

  • As of November 2024, Indian passport holders can enter Thailand visa-free for up to 60 days under the bilateral Visa-Free Travel Agreement signed between India and Thailand in September 2024.
  • No prior visa application, embassy visit, or fee is required. Entry is valid through all designated international ports, including Phuket (HKT) and Krabi (KBV) airports.
  • Carry a passport valid for at least 6 months from entry, proof of return travel, a hotel booking confirmation, and evidence of sufficient funds at immigration.
  • Verify the current policy with the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi or the official Thai immigration website before travel, as visa conditions can be revised at any time.

Excellent trip! Our discussions with the Thrillophilia team started in mid-May, and since it was quite late to plan, hotel prices were already very high. However, Bunty Datta coordinated everything exceptionally well. He was patient, listened carefully to all our requirements, and made sure every request was incorporated into the plan. The choice of hotels, internal transportation, and the overall itinerary were curated perfectly. Everything was so seamless that we truly felt at home even while being in another country. A big shout-out to the entire Thrillophilia team, especially Bunty Datta, for their outstanding work. This was my second tri... Read More

This was second time with Thrillophilia. They have great on ground support. My only concern on the trip were the Island tours. The food served during the Island tours in Phuket and Krabi were below average.

Phuket Tours From delhi FAQs

How much does a Phuket tour package from Delhi cost?

Phuket packages from Delhi on Thrillophilia start at INR 25,300 per person for a 7-night itinerary including flights, transfers, and accommodation. Mid-range packages with Krabi added to the circuit run between INR 45,500 and INR 64,900 per person, and premium honeymoon packages go up to INR 99,758 per person depending on the resort category and inclusions.

How many days are ideal for a Phuket trip from Delhi?

A Phuket-only trip is well covered in 4 to 5 days, giving you enough time for Phang Nga Bay, Phi Phi Islands, Patong, and Phuket Old Town without rushing. For the Phuket and Krabi circuit, 7 to 8 days is the practical minimum, with 3 to 4 days on each side and one day accounting for the transfer between them.

Do Indians need a visa to travel to Phuket?

As of November 2024, Indian passport holders can enter Thailand visa-free for up to 60 days under the Visa-Free Travel Agreement signed between India and Thailand in September 2024. No prior application or fee is required. Carry a passport valid for at least 6 months from entry, a confirmed return ticket, and hotel booking confirmation at immigration.

Are there direct flights from Delhi to Phuket?

Yes. Direct flights from Delhi (DEL) to Phuket (HKT) are operated by Air India and IndiGo, with a flight duration of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes to 5 hours. Round trip fares on the direct route range from INR 14,000 to INR 18,000 per person. Connecting via Bangkok (BKK) is often INR 3,000 to INR 6,000 cheaper per person return and is worth checking before you book.

What is the best time to visit Phuket from Delhi?

November to February is the best window for a Phuket trip from Delhi. All beaches, boat tours, Phi Phi day trips, and Similan Islands diving are fully operational during this period and sea conditions on the west coast are at their calmest. December to January is peak demand and the most expensive window. March to May is a good budget alternative with fewer crowds and mostly dry weather.

Is a Phuket and Krabi package from Delhi worth it?

For most Delhi travellers, yes. Krabi adds Railay Beach, the Four Islands snorkelling tour, and Tiger Cave Temple to the itinerary, all of which are different enough from the Phuket side that the transfer is worth the extra days. The ferry from Phuket to Krabi takes 1.5 to 2 hours and costs approximately INR 700 to INR 1,050 per person one way. Most travellers who do both end up wishing they had given Krabi more time.

What does a Phuket package from Delhi include?

Most Thrillophilia Phuket packages from Delhi include return flights from Delhi (DEL) to Phuket (HKT), airport transfers, hotel accommodation on a breakfast basis, and selected activity bookings depending on the package tier. Day trips to Phi Phi Islands, Phang Nga Bay sea kayaking, Simon Cabaret Show tickets, and the Phuket to Krabi ferry transfer are available as inclusions or add-ons depending on which package you choose.

What currency is used in Phuket and how much should I carry?

Thailand uses the Thai Baht (THB). As of 2026, INR 1 is approximately THB 0.44, meaning INR 10,000 converts to roughly THB 4,400. Credit and debit cards are accepted at most hotels, restaurants, and larger shops in Phuket and Krabi. Thai ATMs charge a flat transaction fee of approximately INR 250 to INR 300 per withdrawal regardless of the amount. Carrying a forex card such as Niyo or HDFC Regalia reduces ATM charges significantly.

Is Phuket safe for solo travellers and families from Delhi?

Phuket is one of the most visited international destinations for Indian travellers and is generally safe for both solo travellers and families. Standard precautions apply: use Grab rather than unmarked taxis, keep valuables secured at the beach, and check sea condition flags before swimming. Red flags on Phuket's west coast beaches during the monsoon from June to October indicate rough sea conditions and swimming is not advisable when they are up.

What is the best Phuket honeymoon package from Delhi?

Thrillophilia's honeymoon packages for Phuket from Delhi include resort accommodation with sea-facing rooms, a sunset dinner cruise from Chalong Pier, a Phang Nga Bay sea kayaking tour, and a Phi Phi Islands day trip as standard inclusions. Prices for honeymoon-specific packages start from INR 46,511 per person for a flight-inclusive 4-night itinerary and go up to INR 64,900 per person for a 6-night Phuket and Krabi circuit with premium resort stays.
