Know Before You Go
- ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
- Indian nationals do not need a permit to visit most islands, but foreign nationals require a Restricted Area Permit (RAP) upon arrival. Some areas, including tribal reserves, remain off-limits.
- Mobile and internet connectivity can be limited, especially on the more remote islands. Carrying a local SIM card from BSNL or Airtel is recommended.
- Ferries are the primary mode of inter-island travel, and schedules can be weather-dependent.
- The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are ecologically sensitive zones. Avoid littering, and be mindful of the impact of your activities on marine life and coral reefs.
- Do not touch, stand on, or remove corals. Feeding or disturbing marine life is prohibited.
- Smoking is prohibited in public areas, including beaches and national parks. Adhere to designated smoking areas only.
- Flying drones is restricted and requires prior permission from the local authorities. Avoid using drones near military installations and tribal areas.
