One of the most recommended and popular tour packages among all types of travellers in Thrillophilia be it family, solo, couple or group, the Mauritius Package from Delhi now starts at just INR 31,990 only after 40% discount.

We plan your itinerary for 6 to 7 nights with different inclusions and add ons as per your requirement, covering Grand Baie in the north to Belle Mare on the east coast, giving you a well structured trip with proper execution at every step.

If you are travelling as a family for Mauritius tour from Delhi, we plan the itinerary around a route logic that keeps resort changes minimal, airport transfers accounted for, and activities matched to your group, from lagoon swimming and catamaran days accessible to all ages to snorkelling and water sports suited to older children and adults.

We do not just put together an itinerary for your Mauritius Tour. At Thrillophilia, we stay involved through the full trip with 24/7 on-ground support so you are not managing transfers, excursion bookings, or last-minute changes on your own while travelling from Delhi.

Note: Prices, visa timelines, and references in this guide were last reviewed in April 2026.

Mauritius Package From Delhi: Overview and 2026 Price Range

Mauritius Tour Package From Delhi at a Glance

Verified by Thrillophilia internal team, April 2026

  • Package Pricing: Thrillophilia's one of the most popular tour packages, the Mauritius tour package from Delhi starts from INR 31,990 per person. The final cost depends on several factors like type of resort, the number of nights, meal plan, and also what are included, excursions and add ons.
  • Duration: 5 nights to 9 nights.
  • Popular Plans: Most travellers from Delhi book a 6 night and 7 day plan covering Grand Baie in the north or Belle Mare on the east coast. The cost varies between INR 70,000 and INR 1,10,000 per person depending on the resort chosen and whether the package is all inclusive or other way round.
  • Inclusions: Accommodation in your chosen Mauritius resort area, direct flights from Delhi to Mauritius, airport to resort transfers, guided excursions and activities, and 24/7 on-ground support throughout your trip.

Mauritius Trip Cost From Delhi: Realistic Budget Breakdown

1. Classic 5 Night 6 Day Resort-Led Trip Cost

A basic 5 night 6 day package from Delhi starts from around INR 46,353 per person and covers your stay, airport transfers, and one or two excursions. This works well if you want a simple beach trip without too many moving parts.

2. 6 Night 7 Day Trip With Excursion Balance

With 7 days you can do a catamaran day, one inland trip, and still have a few days just at the beach. These packages run between INR 65,000 and INR 80,000 per person depending on the resort and meal plan.

3. Premium Couple or Family Plan Cost

Premium resort packages like Sofitel So Mauritius start from INR 74,600 per person for 7 days and 6 nights. Family packages start from INR 31,990 per person for 6 days and 5 nights, and the cost goes up based on room type and meal plan.

4. Flight-Inclusive vs Land-Only Price Difference

A flight-inclusive package starts from around INR 99,000 per person for 5 days and 4 nights and keeps everything in one booking. Land-only packages cost less upfront but you handle the flights yourself, which gets complicated if the nonstop schedule does not match your dates.

5. How Meal Plan Choice Changes the Total Spend

Breakfast-only keeps the package price low but eating out for lunch and dinner in Mauritius can add INR 3,000 to INR 6,000 per person per day to your total. Half board is usually the most sensible option for most travellers, and all-inclusive makes sense if you are planning to stay mostly within the resort.

Travellers should know before payment whether their package includes only the India-Mauritius flight or also includes other factors in Mauritius

All prices are as per 2026, per adult, and based on current inventory.

All-Inclusive vs Breakfast-Only vs Explore-Led Packages

Before leaving for the trip while creating your itinerary it is very important that you are aware of what is included, if breakfast is included or its explore led package. Because having prior knowledge about the itinerary makes your trip hassle free and avoids confusions.

  • All-inclusive makes the most sense if you are staying somewhere like Belle Mare on the east coast, where the resort is your world for most of the trip and stepping out for meals is not really how the holiday works.
  • Breakfast-only is fine if you are based in Grand Baie, where there are enough local restaurants around that eating out every day does not feel like a chore or an extra effort.
  • Most travellers from Delhi end up going half-board because it takes care of breakfast and dinner without making you feel stuck inside the resort for every single meal.
  • An explore-led package with minimal meal inclusions only really works if you have 7 nights or more and are genuinely planning to move around the island, otherwise the food and transport costs outside catch up with you quickly.
  • The gap between a breakfast-only and an all-inclusive package can come to anywhere between INR 3,000 and INR 6,000 per person per day, so on a 6 night trip that difference is worth doing the math on before you book.

What These Mauritius Trips From Delhi Are Best For

A Mauritius trip from Delhi depends on your group, your budget, and your duration. Knowing which version fits you best makes the planning a lot simpler. For Delhi travellers, Mauritius works best when flight timing and resort choice are aligned. A direct flight helps, but the trip quality still depends on the right coast and transfer expectations.

1. Honeymooners and Couples

Air Mauritius operates a nonstop flight from Delhi that covers the distance in around 7 hours 45 minutes. Most couple-friendly resorts are on the east coast around Belle Mare and the west coast near Le Morne, with private beach access and in-resort dining built in. The Island Bliss romantic package starts from INR 46,101 per person for 5 days and 4 nights.

2. Families With Children

The north coast around Grand Baie works well for families because it has shallow lagoon swimming, kid-friendly activities, and dining options outside the resort. The Family Package starts from INR 31,990 per person for 6 days and 5 nights.

3. First-Time Island Travellers From Delhi

Indian tourists can travel visa free to Mauritius, and the island is straight to navigate, which makes it a very practical and recommended first long international island trip from Delhi. These packages start from INR 46,353 per person for 5 days and 4 nights.

4. Premium and Luxury Travellers

The east coast around Belle Mare and the west coast near Le Morne have the strongest resort options, with larger properties, better meal plan setups, and quieter surroundings. The Premium and luxury Mauritius package starts from INR 74,600 per person for 7 days and 6 nights.

5. Adventure-Leaning Travellers

Snorkelling and diving are available along most coasts, canyoning runs through the Riviere Noire area in the south, and kite surfing works well near Le Morne on the west coast. The Best of Mauritius Adventure package starts from INR 65,000 per person for 7 days and 6 nights.

Which Mauritius Resort Areas Work Best From Delhi

Mauritius has four distinct coastal areas and each one creates a different kind of holiday experience. Choosing the right one after knowing all the aspects before booking matters more than most travellers expect. Grand Baie, Flic en Flac, Belle Mare, and Le Morne-side stays create very different holiday patterns. Better packages match the coast to the traveller, not just the room rate.

1. North Coast: Grand Baie and Surroundings

Grand Baie is one of the most active parts of the island with good beaches, restaurants, water sports, and shopping within easy reach. Most catamaran cruises and snorkelling day trips also depart from this side of the island. It works well for first-time visitors and families who want to explore rather than only staying in the resort.

2. East Coast: Belle Mare and Trou d'Eau Douce

Trou d'Eau Douce is the main departure point for Ile aux Cerfs, which is one of the more popular day-trip islands in Mauritius. This coast suits couples and premium travellers who want a slower pace and stronger in-resort experience. The east coast gives you a quite calm ambience basically if you want to relax in the resort with Belle Mare beach running kilometres along a calm lagoon.

Thrillophilia’s Traveller Note

Devansh Goel, a traveller from Delhi, who booked the Explore Mauritius Family Special Package in January 2026, said.“Leaving the cold weather of Delhi and enjoying the warm sunshine in Mauritius felt amazing. The mountain views were beautiful, and the travel arrangements were smooth. Thanks to the team, our family trip was comfortable and well planned, making it one of our best holidays together.”

Verified Thrillophilia international booking, 2026 departure.

3. West Coast: Flic en Flac and Le Morne Side

Flic en Flac has one of the stretched public beaches on the island and is known for good diving conditions, with several dive sites accessible close to shore. Le Morne, further south on the west coast, near a UNESCO listed mountain and has a strong resort cluster with sunset-facing beach access.

4. South and Southeast: Blue Bay and Mahebourg

Blue Bay has a marine park with one of the better coral reef setups in Mauritius, making it a strong base for snorkelling. Mahebourg is a smaller coastal town with a local market and a waterfront that gives a quieter, less resort-heavy feel.

5. Port Louis: Day Visit, Not a Resort Base

Port Louis is the capital and has the Central Market, the Caudan Waterfront, and a few museums worth visiting during a half-day or full-day stop. It is not a beach destination and most resorts are not located here, so it does not work as a primary holiday base.

Where to Stay in Mauritius Based on Your Trip Style

Where you stay in Mauritius shapes the entire trip. Thrillophilia ensures to provide you some of the best category stays to make your trip comfortable, relaxed and memorable. Breakfast-only, half-board, and all-inclusive Mauritius packages can feel very different on the ground. Travellers should know before payment how much dining is included and what local movement still costs.

1. Best Areas for Honeymoon and Couple Stays

Belle Mare is the most popular choice for honeymooners from Delhi, with a calm lagoon, uncrowded beach, and resorts built around in-resort dining and spa facilities. The west coast near Le Morne is another strong option with sunset-facing beach access and the Le Morne Brabant mountain sitting behind the resort cluster.

2. Best Areas for Family Stays

Grand Baie works well for people travelling with families because the place is calm, activities are within easy reach, and you are not entirely dependent on the resort for meals and movement. Mont Choisy and Pereybere, both close to Grand Baie, are quieter alternatives with similar lagoon access and a slightly more local feel. Most family package itineraries from Delhi are created around this part of the island for these reasons.

3. Best Areas for Premium and Quiet Resort Stays

Belle Mare on the east coast has the highest concentration of large resort properties in Mauritius, with a wide beach, calm lagoon, and surroundings quiet enough that most guests stay within the resort for the majority of their trip. The west coast near Le Morne also has luxury and premium options for travellers who want sunset views as part of their stay.

4. Best Areas for First Time Visitors From Delhi

Grand Baie is the most practical base for first-time travellers to Mauritius because it puts you close to catamaran departures, snorkelling spots, dining options, and several day-trip starting points. If you are on a 5 to 6 nights trip and want a reasonable combination of what Mauritius offers without switching resorts, the north coast gives you that without making it complicated for you.

Top Experiences Worth Prioritising in a Mauritius Trip

1. Catamaran Day Trip to Ile aux Cerfs

Ile aux Cerfs is a small island at the east coast and choosing a day for this trip is one of the most selected and appreciated activities. You get to try snorkelling here, a barbecue lunch on the water, and spend a good time on the beach here.

2. Snorkelling at Blue Bay Marine Park

Blue Bay is situated within a protected marine park in the southeast and has some of the healthiest coral in Mauritius. The reef starts close to shore and the water stays shallow, so it works even if you have never snorkelled before.

3. Chamarel and the Seven Coloured Earth

The seven coloured earth at Chamarel is a stretch of volcanic sand dunes where the soil naturally shows distinct colour bands due to different mineral compositions. Most itineraries club this with the Chamarel waterfall nearby and cover both in half a day.

4. Black River Gorges National Park

This is Mauritius's largest national park at around 6,574 hectares and has proper walking trails through native forest. It is also one of the few places on the island where you can spot endemic birds like the Mauritius kestrel in the wild.

5. Sunset on the West Coast

The west coast around Flic en Flac and Le Morne faces directly into the sunset and the difference is noticeable compared to other parts of the island. If your resort is on this side, plan at least one evening around it.

I highly recommended this to all my friends. Truly one of the best experiences of our trip to the islands. We saw many fish and the local gear was good.”

Best Time to Visit Mauritius From Delhi

1. May to October: Drier and Cooler Window

July to September is the more comfortable timeline for most travellers from Delhi, with temperatures between 20 and 26 degrees Celsius, lower humidity, and dry sunny days through most of the period. It works well for beach time, water sports, and inland day trips.

2. November to April: Warmer Beach Period With Rain Variability

Temperatures rise to between 25°C and 33°C during this period when the island gets more humidity and rainfall, particularly from December onward. October and November are often the best overall months to visit because the weather is warm, seas are reasonably calm, and it falls before the heavier rainy months begin.

3. January to March: Cyclone Season Caution

Mauritius falls within the Indian Ocean cyclone belt and January to March carries the highest risk of cyclone activity. Travel disruptions, rough seas, and heavy rainfall are more likely during this period even in years without a direct hit.

4. How Coast Choice Affects Season Comfort

The east and south coasts tend to feel calm and soothing between May and August because of the southeast trade winds that pass through during the drier months. The west coast around Flic en Flac and Le Morne is more sheltered during this period and usually has calmer beach conditions.

Flights to Mauritius From Delhi: What Travellers Should Know

Getting the flight choice right for a Mauritius trip from Delhi matters because it directly affects how your departure and arrival on the island takes place.

1. Current Nonstop Delhi to Mauritius Route and Frequency

Air Mauritius operates flights which provide a nonstop service between Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport in Mauritius, with a flight time of around 7 hours 45 minutes.

2. When a One-Stop Flight Makes More Sense

If the nonstop schedule does not align with your travel duration, then a one-stop connection through Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Mumbai, or Kuala Lumpur can be considered as a practical alternative. Emirates, Air Arabia, IndiGo, and Malaysia Airlines are among the carriers that operate one stop routes from Delhi to Mauritius.

3. How Arrival Time Affects Day 1 Plans

The nonstop flight from Delhi typically arrives in Mauritius in the early hours of the morning, so your first usable day at the resort usually begins after check-in around midday. On a one-stop itinerary, arrival time depends on the layover and can shift significantly.

4. Flight Timing and Resort Transfer Expectations

Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport situated in the southeast near Mahebourg, and transfer times to your resort vary by coast. Grand Baie in the north takes around 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, Belle Mare on the east coast is around 30 to 45 minutes, and the west coast near Flic en Flac or Le Morne takes around 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes.

Entry Rules and Travel Documents for Indian Travellers

Mauritius is one of the easier destinations for Indian travellers from a paperwork standpoint, but getting your documents in order is important before you fly.

1. Visa Requirements for Indians Visiting Mauritius

Indian passport holders do not need a visa for Mauritius and get entry on arrival for up to 60 days. This can be confirmed on the official Mauritius Passport and Immigration Office country list, which places India under the no visa required category.

2. Travel Documents You Need to Carry

Your passport needs to be valid for at least six months beyond your return date, and you should carry a confirmed return ticket and hotel booking proof. Bank statements or a credit card as proof of funds is also worth keeping handy as immigration can ask for it on arrival.

3. Mauritius All-in-One Travel Digital Form

Mauritius requires travellers to fill in the All-in-One Travel Digital Form online before departure, which replaced the old paper arrival card. Fill it in and submit it before you board. Check the official Mauritius government portal closer to your travel date since form requirements do get updated.

4. What Gets Checked on Arrival

Immigration at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport usually checks your passport, return ticket, accommodation proof, and funds. Entry is still at the discretion of the immigration officer even without a visa requirement, so keep everything organised and accessible. Carry printed copies alongside your digital ones.

Common Planning Mistakes Delhi Travellers Make

  • A lot of travellers pick the cheapest package and only realise on the island that meals are not included, which adds up fast.
  • Mauritius looks small on a map but the north, east, west, and south coasts give you very different trips, and picking the wrong one is a harder fix once you have booked.
  • Fitting in too many inland drives on a 5 or 6 night trip usually means you end up seeing a lot of the island from a car window and not enough of it from the beach.
  • The Delhi to Mauritius nonstop does not fly every day, and many travellers find this out only after they have picked their travel dates.
  • Visa rules for Mauritius are straightforward for Indians but a lot of people still rely on old blog posts instead of checking the official Mauritius immigration page before travel.
  • The airport sits in the southeast of the island and the drive to Grand Baie in the north takes well over an hour, which catches a lot of first-time visitors off guard on Day 1.
  • Booking a resort without checking how far it is from the airport means your first and last days can end up being mostly about the road rather than the holiday.

  • All-inclusive makes the most sense if you are staying somewhere like Belle Mare on the east coast, where the resort is your main important factor for most of the trip and stepping out for meals is not really how the holiday works.

Why Travellers Trust Thrillophilia for Mauritius Package From Delhi

Thrillophilia has put together a Mauritius package from Delhi that is built around how the island actually works rather than just listing resorts and activities. The packages are structured around coast choice, meal plan clarity, and realistic transfer expectations, so travellers from Delhi know what they are getting before they confirm the booking. Every major detail including the resort area, flight inclusion, meal plan type, and excursion list is confirmed before payment.

What makes a difference on the ground is that the team understands Mauritius as a resort-area decision and not just a destination name. Whether you are looking at a quiet east coast stay in Belle Mare, a family trip out of Grand Baie, or a west coast sunset experience near Le Morne, the packages are matched to the traveller rather than built around the lowest available room rate. The 24/7 on-ground support means that if anything shifts during the trip, whether it is a weather change, a transfer delay, or an excursion reshuffle, there is someone to sort it out without the traveller having to figure it out alone.

Thrillophilia’s Traveller Note

Damini Lal, a traveler from Delhi, who booked the 6 NIGHT 7 DAYS MAURITIUS PACKAGE in June 2024, said.“We really enjoyed our stay in Mauritius, Special thanks to Akshita, who really motivated and guided us to take the trip from thrillophilia, she is an asset to sales team, she went an extra mile to guide us in buying air tickets Thank you the whole team for delivering the best service.”

Travel Updates and Safety Information for Mauritius Trips

  • The All-in-One Travel Digital Form requirements can change, so check the official Mauritius government portal closer to your travel date rather than going off something you read months ago.
  • The Delhi to Mauritius nonstop runs on limited days, so call your airline or operator a few weeks before departure to reconfirm your flight schedule rather than assuming everything is as it was when you booked.
  • If you are travelling between January and March, keep an eye on the weather forecast because rough seas, heavy rain, and the occasional flight disruption are real possibilities during cyclone season, and travel insurance with disruption cover is worth having.
  • The sun in Mauritius is strong year round and getting badly sunburnt in the first two days can quietly ruin the rest of a short trip, so carry SPF 50 sunscreen and actually use it through the day.
  • Before heading out for snorkelling, diving, or a catamaran day, check the sea conditions with your operator because wind and waves vary quite a bit depending on which coast you are on and what time of year it is.
  • Tap water in Mauritius is generally safe but most people on the island stick to bottled water, especially when spending long days outdoors or moving between areas.
  • Save your travel insurance details, hotel address, and the Mauritius emergency number 999 on your phone before you land so you are not scrambling for them if something comes up.
