A Switzerland itinerary, 9 days, with listed prices ranging from INR 100,059 to INR 215,043 is ideal for travellers who want more than a quick European stopover. Thrillophilia’s current 9-day options cover alpine landscapes, scenic rail journeys, family holidays and multi-country routes for 9-day packages.
With eight nights in hand, you can combine Switzerland’s classic destinations rather than rushing through them. Depending on the itinerary, expect time in Zurich, Lucerne, Interlaken, Zermatt or Montreux, while selected packages also connect Switzerland with Italy, France, Austria or Germany. Experiences can include Swiss Continuous Pass or Swiss Flexi Pass options, making rail travel a major part of the holiday.
Zurich is a convenient starting point, with Geneva and Basel also serving as international gateways. Switzerland’s airports connect directly to the national rail network, making onward journeys by train straightforward. Zurich Airport, for instance, has frequent trains to Zurich city and other Swiss destinations. Indian passport holders need a Schengen visa for tourism in Switzerland. Short-stay Schengen visas cover visits of up to 90 days within 180 days. Applications from Indian residents are handled through the Embassy of Switzerland in New Delhi and VFS Global. Thrillophilia’s destination experts can assist with choosing the route and with the visa application procedure, sightseeing and airport transfers, accommodation and inclusions according to your travel requirements. It assists with permit documentation, hotel vouchers, itineraries and application guidance, while official visa fees remain excluded.
For pleasant sightseeing, late spring through autumn is generally comfortable, while winter is especially attractive for travellers interested in snow and skiing. Your choice of season should ultimately match the experiences included in the itinerary. Thrillophilia’s Switzerland itinerary, 9 days, allows you to compare short breaks with longer, experience-led itineraries based on the ideal season, attractions and inclusions. Instead of spending your leave arranging separate hotels, transfers, and sightseeing, you can choose a structured route that keeps the focus on the destination. This is especially useful for multi-stop holidays that keep the planning convenient from your home city.
Thrillophilia Switzerland itinerary, 9 days can bring together accommodation, transfers, sightseeing and selected activities, with customisation available depending on the plan. The platform also provides 24/7 assistance during the trip.
Prices are starting rates per adult and can vary according to dates, inclusions and customisations.

Yes, 9 days is enough to see the highlights of Switzerland if you focus on two or three regions. You can comfortably experience major alpine spots like the Bernese Oberland and Lucerne without rushing. However, it is not enough to deeply explore the entire country.
Yes, Indian citizens mandatorily require a pre-approved visa to enter Switzerland. For short visits up to 90 days (tourism or business), you must apply for a Schengen Short-Stay Visa (Type C) through VFS Global before traveling, as there is no visa-on-arrival facility.
