Milestone trips have a legacy of their own. They come after you have already experienced and settled into your life’s rhythm, when it doesn’t have much to surprise you. Your affairs are in order, and all you need is a trip that stands out throughout your life.
This is what Simpi and Dharmashree envisioned for their Europe trip in April 2025.
Simpi wasn’t unfamiliar with how logistically demanding Europe trips are. The visa, route mapping, accommodations, trains, and budgeting are something which require months to prepare for, and if not executed properly, dismantle the entire trip on the ground. This is why choosing the correct travel partner was important to them. Because they didn’t want to risk their trip, one that they had planned on doing for so long, getting derailed because of logistical mistakes.
While talking to Gangadevi, their destination expert, Simpi was upfront with his concerns.
The trip that followed was the result of relentless availability checks, briefing sessions, comprehensive visa support, budget breakdowns, and a carefully curated and executed support team who made sure the travellers experienced Switzerland exactly as promised and envisioned.
Three Days in the Heart of Paris

For the first three days of their European holiday, Paris became more than just the starting point of the journey. After arriving at Charles de Gaulle Airport, the transfers and hotel check-in were handled smoothly, allowing them to settle in without having to worry about the logistics of navigating a new country.
After deliberately having a leisure evening to recover from the travel fatigue, the following day brought them to Paris’ main highlights. A guided tour took them through celebrated Parisian icons, including Place Vendôme, Opéra Garnier, Place de la Concorde, and the bustling Champs-Élysées, each carrying a distinct chapter of the city's history. Their day ended with a glittering view of the Parisian skyline from the Eiffel Tower, a scene that etched itself into Simpi’s mind, and he realised how important the trip was to find his love for travelling yet again.
Their Paris stay came to an end on a lighter note. A day trip to Disneyland Paris brought a lighter, playful side to the trip before they returned to the city’s heart for a Seine cruise, cutting through the water as the lively hustle and bustle of Paris went on around them.
The Journey Through Amsterdam Before Reaching Switzerland

Without a fixed schedule or itinerary to rush through, they took their time exploring the Grand Palace, Town Hall, and the famous Manneken Pis to get a glimpse of the city’s centuries-old heritage.
By the time they reached Amsterdam, their hearts were as full as their legs were tired, and the day ended with nothing but fresh memories that they weren’t going to forget anytime soon.
Simpi and Dharmashree’s highlight in Amsterdam was easily the glass-roof canal cruise. Passing under historic bridges and alongside centuries-old canal houses that define its UNESCO-listed city centre at a relaxing pace that didn’t tire them physically was the perfect leisure activity that they could’ve asked for after their days in Paris.
By the evening, the team had already checked in with them, informing them about their trip’s next leg and preparing them with basic information like their accommodations, transfers, and activity plans. The only thing left for them to do at this point was to be excited because every other thing was cared for, just as promised.
Exploring Switzerland
Before checking into their hotel in Switzerland, Simpi and Dharmashree paused in Heidelberg, strolling through its charming Old Town, browsing the lively Market Square, and admiring the centuries-old Church of the Holy Spirit. Their day ended with a boat ride that brought them remarkably close to Europe’s largest waterfall, Rhine Falls, letting them experience its power from up close.
Simpi was in awe during the entirety of it. The smoothness of the tour gave him little else to do but to experience everything that was curated for them, and he was grateful to feel the team’s presence through it all; that’s how he knew someone’s got his back in a new country.
The following two days covered Switzerland’s highlights, including Jungfraujoch, Ice Palace, Sphinx Observatory, Aletsch Glacier, and finally, the dramatic Titlis Cliff Walk, after which the rest of the day was kept in leisure to prepare Simpi and Dharmashree for Rome, the tour’s last leg.
Rome’s Heritage and the Trip’s Closure

Their final full day of exploration brought them to Rome, but first through the heart of Vatican City, where centuries of art, faith, and history came together in remarkable fashion. Covering the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St Peter's Basilica without feeling rushed settled Simpi into the slower rhythm of Rome, one that was welcome after days of travelling intensely.
The journey continued into Rome and came to a gradual conclusion that evening after having witnessed the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain.
As Simpi and Dharmashree checked into their hotel for the final night, there was a quiet sense of accomplishment. Their departure the following morning marked the end of the itinerary, but the memories of the journey had only just begun to settle in.
The Team Behind the Success of it All
Simpi’s Europe review on Thrillophilia’s platform left little room for any criticism.
“Everything perfectly planned, executed, places, hotels, team manager fantastic, overall 13 days unknown Europe trip memories cherished always 100/100 thanks Thrillophilia 👍💐🙏”
Simpi and Dharmashree’s trip was successful because of the meticulous planning stage that preceded all logistics. That combined with an on-grounds support team ensured a smooth execution of every aspect, which, for Simpi and his partner, meant constant support and care without them feeling the pressure of any aspect.
Just how the team intended it.
