We have recently completed of 9N/8D Full circuit tour of Spiti Valley. We started our journey from Delhi to Shimla on bus and then our guide (Mr. Parikshit Kanwar) recieved us from the drop point and we started our journey for Spiti Valley on our Traveller. Our route was Delhi-Shimla-Chitkul-Nako-Tabo-Kaza-Chadrataal-Sissu-Manali-Delhi..... All the stays were very good except for the stay at Kaza (Piti Jalsa Heritage). The food was also decent elsewhere. At Chitkul and Sissu we were given tents to stay, but the tents at Sissu we decent but at Chitkul (Nargu Camps) were very good and the food was also nice. Our guide and the driver were exceptionally good and their behaviour and knowledge about the circumstances were excellent. The Journey was a great experience of road trip and we covered all the places that were mentioned in our itinerary.

The overall trip was very good. Have made some good friends which I remind forever. The onground staff was amazing. Our Coordination cum Guide Ms. Neetima Mam is such a knowledgeable person who tells us every minute things about the trip & she is very punctual that's why our itenerary got completed. Our Marshal Mr. Sunil Zinta is very professional, Experienced and so kind hearted Man whose helpful and friendly nature will be reminded forever. The only suggestion is that force traveller should be replaced with force urbania and the stay of sissu should have been better. Overall it was very good and memorable trip which I will cherish forever.

I am thankful to Ms. Sonal my first point of contact who explained me everything in detail about the packages and helped in confirming the trip in very short period of time. Next I was connected with Mr. Abhishek who explained all the itinerary about the 6 days and informed me about everything that will be needed for the trip. We were provided with a nice guide who was perfect on time, and letting know all the essential things. The stay was made as per the request and the add-ons I asked for were also arranged perfectly. Thank you team Thrillophilia for this wonderful memorable trip.

About Shimla From Kerala

Reviewed by Thrillophilia Operations Team
A trip to Shimla from Kerala calls for a little planning around the final stretch of the journey. Travellers can compare flights to Chandigarh or Delhi and continue to the hills by road. Chandigarh can be convenient for a shorter onward transfer, while Delhi may offer more flight choices depending on the travel dates. The listed Shimla packages include both short stays and longer Himachal circuits, so the most suitable arrival route depends on where your selected itinerary begins.

The current starting price for a Shimla tour package from Kerala is INR 12,800 per adult. The listing includes a three-day Shimla getaway, five- and six-day Shimla–Manali options, and longer routes covering destinations such as Dharamshala and Dalhousie. The displayed package prices and durations make it possible to compare a short hill-station break with a broader regional holiday, but check the exact starting point and inclusions before booking.

The Ridge and Mall Road are at the heart of Shimla's sightseeing, with cafés, shops and views of the surrounding hills. Christ Church is a prominent landmark, while Jakhoo Temple offers a hilltop setting. Kufri is a popular excursion for mountain scenery and seasonal outdoor activities. Travellers with more time can extend their trip to Manali or explore additional parts of Himachal Pradesh.

Walking along Mall Road, exploring the town's colonial-era architecture, and visiting viewpoints are easy ways to spend time in Shimla. Depending on the itinerary and season, you can add Kufri excursions or combine the trip with Manali's valleys and outdoor experiences. Couples can compare Shimla honeymoon tour packages for scenic stays and mountain excursions, while Shimla family tour packages can be assessed for hotel access, walking requirements, and comfortable transfer schedules. For itineraries that include several hill stations, check the daily driving time and number of hotel changes before choosing a package.

March to June is popular for milder daytime weather, while October and November can bring crisp air and clearer mountain views. Winter is appealing for travellers interested in cold-weather scenery, but snow can affect road conditions. Monsoon rain may also disrupt transfers, so leave flexibility in your plans during wet weather.

Why Choose Thrillophilia for Shimla?

-Compare a short stay with a multi-stop holiday: A three-day package can suit travellers who want to focus on Shimla, while longer itineraries may include Manali and other Himachal destinations. Compare the overnight stays to understand how much time you will spend in each place.

- Plan the journey from the gateway: Travelling from Kerala involves reaching a northern gateway before continuing into the hills. Check whether your package begins in Chandigarh, Delhi, or another location and whether transfers from the airport or railway station are included.

- Check access to seasonal attractions: Mountain excursions can be affected by snow, rain, and local road conditions. Confirm whether activities such as a Rohtang Pass excursion are available on your travel dates and whether any permits or additional charges apply.

- Choose accommodation for the terrain: Hotel location matters in a hill town, where steep roads and walking routes can affect access. Check the property's location, room category, and transfer arrangements if travelling with older family members or young children.

- Budget for the complete itinerary: Review the package's meals, sightseeing, transfers, and activity inclusions. Keep a separate allowance for travel from Kerala, personal expenses, and optional excursions that may not form part of the listed price.

They treat you like their own, this is the highest compliment that i think i can pay to a travel company. The booking process was smooth where all the questions were answered promptly and expectations were set as per the trip, Spiti valley in this case. Fast forward to the start of the trip, where all the instructions were shared promptly and well in advance. The tour guide, James and the driver Happy ji were gems. All the arrangements were quite good. We had to take a decision to change our stay for a night due to bad weather and traffic in the area, these folks managed to secure first class accomodation in the small time they had. So far the review looks golden, right, for a trip that's going on with minimal hiccups. I started suffering from the altitude sickness in the trip, i informed my guide who was equipped with a SpO2 meter. He took my readings and promptly took to the local hospital where the doctor recommended being admitted overnight. Now this is like a bad dream come true, hospilatized far away from your loved ones at 12,500 feet. Thanks to James, Happy, Aashima and Sunil ji, i didn't feel that fear. While our guide stayed the night with me at the hotel, the team promptly helped us with transportation and stays so that we could descend to lower altitude and start the recovery process. Just like family, they didn't just stop at just the bookings, but they kept on check and following up, making sure that I was well. It's the people who make a company, and Thrilophillia have the best!
