How to Reach Kerala From Delhi

By Air: Kerala has three airports - Trivandrum International Airport (Thiruvananthapuram), Cochin International Airport (Kochi), and Calicut International Airport (Kozhikode). All these airports are well connected with the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. Many airlines run daily non-stop flights between Delhi and each of the airports in Kerala. The flight duration is usually three and a half hours.

By Train: There are many direct trains from New Delhi to Trivandrum like NZM TVC Express, Kerala Express, and Kerala S Kranti. These trains stop at major cities of Kerala like Kannur, Calicut, Alleppey, Thrissur, and Kollam before reaching Trivandrum. The travel time could be as long as 4 days (50 hours) by train.

By Road: The road distance between Delhi and the capital city of Trivandrum is 2908 km and hence, there are no direct buses available. If you are particular about taking a bus, you can stop at several states in Central and southern India, before reaching Kerala.

Loved the serenity of the backwaters after the constant noise of the capital city. It’s so different from the chaos of Delhi; we actually felt like we were on a vacation. The support team kept in touch with us daily on WhatsApp to ensure everything was going according to plan. The hotel in Kochi was right in the middle of the heritage area, making it easy to explore the local markets and cafes during our free time.

Kerala ki haryali dekh kar maza aa gaya, it is so much more beautiful than the pictures on the website. The houseboat in Alleppey was better than any luxury hotel we've stayed in before. Thanks to Varun for customizing the dates at the last minute when our flights got rescheduled. This was our first time in South India and the hospitality was absolutely heartwarming. We are already planning to come back next year with our extended family.

The food options throughout the trip were plenty, even for us being strict vegetarians. Very professional service with a focus on customer satisfaction. The houseboat stay was a unique experience that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kerala for the first time. The staff on the boat was very friendly and helpful.

Flew in from Delhi and the transition to the peaceful hills of Munnar was so smooth and refreshing. The weather is just perfect this time of year, chilly enough for jackets but pleasant during the day. Manoj did a great job with the resort selection; the view from our balcony was simply stunning. Everything was handled professionally and we never felt like we were being up-sold on anything. A very transparent and reliable travel partner for North Indians.
