Thrillophilia Kerala packages from Pune start from INR 11,500 and remain one of the easiest ways to trade city routine for a very different landscape in just a few hours. Direct flights from Pune to Kochi usually take under two hours, which makes Kerala a practical choice for both short breaks and longer holidays. Many travellers from Pune choose these routes because the contrast feels immediate, with cooler tea slopes in Munnar, slower backwater stays in Alleppey, and forest-led experiences in Thekkady, all within one journey.
What makes these packages work well is the way Kerala naturally fits different travel styles without feeling forced into one pace. Couples often prefer slower hill and backwater combinations, families usually choose balanced circuits that include wildlife and cultural stops, while working professionals often look for shorter itineraries that make the most of limited leave. With flight access, rail options, and organised transfers, the overall journey stays manageable even when covering multiple destinations.
Thrillophilia helps make that movement easier by building itineraries that focus on practical routing, dependable stays, and smooth on-ground coordination. Houseboat experiences, hill transfers, hotel check-ins, and local support are arranged in a way that reduces travel fatigue and keeps the trip comfortable across each stop. The result is a Kerala holiday from Pune that feels easy to plan, well connected, and rewarding from start to finish.

Kerala can be visited year-round, but the right season depends on your travel style. Travellers booking a Kerala trip package from Pune should consider the weather, crowd, and road conditions before choosing dates.
October to March is the most suitable period for Kerala packages from Pune focused on sightseeing. The weather stays drier, and temperatures remain comfortable for exploring Munnar, Alleppey, Kochi, and beach regions. Travel between destinations is usually smoother, though prices are higher during holidays.
April to June is warmer, especially in coastal areas. However, hill stations like Munnar remain cooler and are a good option for travellers avoiding peak crowds. Early morning sightseeing works better in this season.
July to September is the monsoon period. Rain can slow road travel, but landscapes look greener, and crowd levels drop. Many travellers still choose Kerala packages from Pune during these months for Ayurveda programmes and quieter stays.
If unsure, October to February offers the most balanced travel conditions.

Practical Tips for Pune Travellers
Local Food Guide (Appam, Stew, and Sadhya)
Food plays an important role in Kerala travel experiences from Pune, and local flavours differ from Maharashtrian cuisine. Coconut is widely used in curries, gravies, and side dishes. Appam with vegetable or chicken stew is a common and easy choice across major destinations. Sadhya is a traditional vegetarian meal served on a banana leaf with rice, curries, pickles, and desserts. Spice levels are usually moderate, and most hotels also offer multi-cuisine options.
Packing Strategy (Monsoon vs Summer)
Packing well helps make a Kerala trip from Pune more comfortable, as the humidity is usually higher than in Pune. Light cotton clothes work best for most seasons and dry faster in warm weather. Carrying an extra set is useful on transfer days. Comfortable footwear helps during sightseeing and boat jetties. During the monsoon, add waterproof bags, quick-dry shoes, and rain protection. Packing by season helps travellers adjust easily and stay comfortable throughout the journey.

DISHA - Travel Safety and Updates for Kerala (April 2026)
Travel conditions across Kerala remain stable for most routes with minor seasonal variations affecting travel time. Road conditions between Kochi and Munnar are generally manageable, though travel may slow during rainfall due to reduced visibility and traffic buildup on hilly stretches.
Backwater levels in Alleppey are currently normal, allowing houseboat operations to run on regular schedules without major disruptions.
Temple festivals in certain regions can lead to temporary traffic diversions, especially near town centres. Planning buffer time between transfers helps manage delays.
Weather during monsoon months may affect daily schedules slightly, so flexible planning is recommended.

Good Kerala experience with Thrillophilia. The houseboat was comfortable and the crew very attentive. Thekkady jeep safari was a fun add-on. One resort in Munnar had a slight room issue but the team sorted it quickly. Would recommend for families looking for a relaxed Kerala break.
Starting from on-time pickup, comfortable car, clean rooms, itinerary execution everything I liked. We specifically asked for a homestay in Alleppey instead of a regular hotel and Thrillophilia found a family-run property right on the canal where the grandmother cooked breakfast every morning. That was not in any brochure but it became the memory we talk about most. Athirappilly falls with very few people since we reached early as suggested. Thekkady was rushed slightly but the rest of the trip had good breathing room. Anyways there is nothing much in Thekkady execpt for for spice plantations and boat safari hardly there is any chance of see... Read More
Kerala with my girl gang from Pune was a memorable trip. the houseboat in Alleppey was exactly the vibe we needed. Floating gently through the backwater canals, watching village life on the banks, having freshly made fish curry on board, it felt like a different world entirely. Good planning, comfortable stays and zero stress throughout.
The cultural show in the evening was very vibrant and gave us a great insight into Kerala's rich traditions. The logistics were handled exceptionally well, and we didn't have to stand in any long queues for tickets. I am definitely recommending this tour to my friends and colleagues who are looking for a well-planned holiday. The houseboat stay was very romantic and the food served on board was fresh and very tasty.
Mast trip zali! The houseboat experience in Alleppey was unlike anything we have back in Maharashtra, so serene and beautiful. Jignesh made sure we got a 3-bedroom villa for our group in Munnar, which worked out perfectly for our late-night catch-ups. Everything from the airport pickup to the island tours was well-timed and professional. If you are looking for a stress-free trip from Pune, these guys are definitely the best in the business.
Booked this Kerala package for my parents' 30th anniversary and they had a wonderful, comfortable time. They felt very safe throughout the journey, and the driver was particularly respectful and attentive to their needs as senior citizens. Thank you Sameer for the extra care in selecting hotels with elevator access and minimal walking. They came back with so many photos and happy memories of the backwaters and the tea gardens. Truly a professional service.
From Pune's busy IT life to the quiet spice gardens of Thekkady, it was a much-needed and refreshing break. The forest trek was a bit tiring in the afternoon heat, but the views of the wild animals at the lake were worth it. Anand was very responsive to our queries about local food and hidden gems. The hotels were top-notch with great hospitality. It’s rare to find a travel company that delivers exactly what they promise.
This was a great value for money package with no hidden costs at the end. The hotels were 4-star as promised, very clean, and located in peaceful areas away from the main road. We particularly loved the evening boat ride in the Periyar lake where we spotted some elephants near the water. The coordination between the sales and ground teams was excellent, ensuring a very smooth holiday experience for my whole family.
Overall plan was good and cost effective. Sales person was also good. Driver Anil Kumar was very good and knowledgeable person. He guided us very well through out the trip.
The waterfall at Athirappilly was absolutely breathtaking and the drive from the Kochi airport was very scenic and comfortable. We loved the local fish curry suggested by our driver, who was very polite and helpful with our bags. The planning was spot on, and we never had to wait for our vehicle at any point. Booking from Pune was a breeze since all the documentation was handled digitally and very efficiently by the team.
