I had booked first time with thrillophilia and surprisingly it was awesome. Everything was seamlessly planned by them and not a single time I had faced any difficulty or trouble in the whole trip. Hotels were very good and convenient. Car provided was up to the mark and great. Staff was supportive and very good. All the hotels were 5star as we requested. The driver named Sumesh sir for our Tour was very well trained driver and a good guide too. He guided us very well for all the 6 days... he was very helpful too. Ayushi from thrillophilia was availableeach time we had any queries. The trip we planned was for 4 nights and 5 days to Kerela, which includes 2 days in Munnar, 1 day in Thekkady and 1 day in Alleppey Houseboat. I would like to thank Rupali Sharma and Thrillophilia Team for arranging the trip in short notice and constantly keeping in touch to know the trip whereabouts. On arrival we were received by our tour operator Shammas who is local from Munnar and was an excellent tour guide. We stayed in Amuse Vista and the Hotel was good as expected. The rooms were cleaned and the service was good. They have a nice restaurant on the ground floor where we went for dinner along with a Massage Centre. The breakfast provided was typical Kerala food along with with some North Indian dish like Chole Bhature for those who don't prefer typical Kerala Food. In my suggestion take small quantity of all the dishes and explore the cuisines of Kerala. In Munnar we saw Traditional Kathakkali and Kalaripayattu performance. Tea Garden & Tea Factory. Spice Garden. Flower Garden. Eravikulam National Park. Spice Garden. And to our experience the first 2 days in Munnar were simply moments to capture for life. On our 3rd day they took us to Kalpavanam Elephant Park where you can go for Elephant Safari, or you can simply feed or bathe the beautiful animal. That is something I would recommend you all to try. In Thekkady we were suppose to go to Periyar Natinal Park, but all the time slots were booked, please book your slots in advance. I would recommend going for half day Trek or Boat Safari. As we had no slots available we opted for 3rd part Jeep Safari. We were then taken to our 2nd Hotel in Thekkady, The Elephant Route. The hotel looks vintage with all wodden infrastructure and provides good service. If you wish you can go for Kathakkali and Kalaripayattu performance which is right next to the hotel. You can go to Tuskers Cafe for your Lunch and Dinner which is walking distance from the hotel. They provide excellent and reasonable food. On our 4th day we travelled to Alleppey for our Houseboat stay, we were staying with Blue Greens Houseboats. They were on time and picked us up by 12. The service was excellent, provided by a welcome drink, typical Kerala Lunch and Dinner. We were also offered pakoda and chai in the evening. All the food was cooked in the boat itself and was very tasty. We spent the whole day in houseboat and also enjoyed Kayaking. You can also buy fish if you wish to add some menu to your dinner, we purchased Crabs and they were nicely prepared in the boat and served for dinner. 5th morning we were dropped at the same location where we were picked from, and we started our journey back to home. One our way to Cochin Airport we went to Kerala Folklore Museum and had our lunch at Dhe Pattu which is restaurant owned by Indian Moviestar Dileep. You should not miss the Puttu. Tips: *People in Kerela are friendly, although there is a language barrier but they are approachable and you can get help easily. *If you are confused about food, simply order Kerela Meal, it's affordable and easy on the stomach. If you are a foodie, then there's no limit to the order. *Try and explore as many activities as you can. Must try Kathakkali and Kalaripayattu performance. *Go for Elephant Safari/Feeding/Bathing - in my personal experience Elephant Bathing is very memorable. *House boats can differ on the number of people and the package you select. Yes there is a mosquito problem but only to annoy you. They are green colour Mosquitoes which don't bite but do annoy you while sleeping and eating, keep the house boat as dim as you can. *All the activities apart from Hotel Bookings, and the personal driver/travel operator is self, so be prepared. *Many places do accept UPI now, we did not face much problem but yes carry cash for the safer side. *Carry Binoculars if you are an avid nature enthusiast. *We went in Hot Summers and the climate was okay and bearable 30°C up and down, I would recommend going in Winter. *Kerala is a clean state and many of the places we visited were kept clean and tidy, our responsibility as a tourist is to leave the place with Memories and not Trash.

Overall, well planned stay. Service from Rupali excellent. A very helpful lady with good manners and respect. Cab driver ,Taahir Ali, excellent and very patient. Thank you for a well planned trip. All hotels metnour expectations. The private houseboat was the highlight of our stay. Very well maintained and clean. The food well prepaperd and delicious,felt like home.

Booked: Escape to Kerala with Overnight Kumarakom Houseboat Stay

Starting from on-time pickup, comfortable car, clean rooms, itinerary execution everything I liked. We specifically asked for a homestay in Alleppey instead of a regular hotel and Thrillophilia found a family-run property right on the canal where the grandmother cooked breakfast every morning. That was not in any brochure but it became the memory we talk about most. Athirappilly falls with very few people since we reached early as suggested. Thekkady was rushed slightly but the rest of the trip had good breathing room. Anyways there is nothing much in Thekkady execpt for for spice plantations and boat safari hardly there is any chance of seeing animals.

This was a great value for money package with no hidden costs at the end. The hotels were 4-star as promised, very clean, and located in peaceful areas away from the main road. We particularly loved the evening boat ride in the Periyar lake where we spotted some elephants near the water. The waterfall at Athirappilly was absolutely breathtaking and the drive from the Kochi airport was very scenic and comfortable. We loved the local fish curry suggested by our driver, who was very polite and helpful with our bags. The planning was spot on, and we never had to wait for our vehicle at any point.
