Waking up at 5:00 AM for the hot air balloon flight in Cappadocia was the highlight of our lives! Thrillophilia ensured we were in the first wave of balloons, so we got to watch the sun rise over the fairy chimneys from the best possible vantage point. Afterward, the traditional champagne toast and breakfast in the valley were such elegant touches. We also loved the private pottery session in Avanos where we tried the traditional kick-wheel technique.
