I joined Thrillophilia’s Bhutan group tour with around 14–16 people in the batch, and I was honestly a little unsure at first because I usually prefer flexible travel. But this trip changed my perspective on group tours. What made the experience special was the mix of people there were couples, solo travelers, and even a small family. By the second day, everyone was interacting like we had known each other for longer. The tour manager did a good job of keeping the group organized without making it feel too rigid. One thing I appreciated was that despite being a group tour, there was still enough personal space. Meals were shared, but evenings were relaxed, and no one was forced into constant interaction. The hotels were comfortable, transport was managed smoothly, and the guide handled the logistics well for such a large group. There were a couple of delays while waiting for everyone to assemble, which is expected in any group setup, but nothing frustrating. If someone is considering Bhutan and wants both sightseeing and a social travel experience, this group tour is a solid option. I came back not just with memories of Bhutan, but also with contacts of people I’d genuinely travel with again.
