Know Before You Go
- Entry permits are processed at Phuentsholing Immigration Office. Guests must carry valid government-issued ID (Voter ID or Passport) and 2 passport-size photographs. The guide will assist with the process.
- SDF of ₹1,200 per person per night is mandatory and is included the package.
- All transfers in Bhutan are on a sharing basis. India-side transfers will be by Innova/Swift/WagonR, depending on group size.
- Daily breakfast & dinner are included along with one complimentary lunch at Le Meridien Riverfront in Paro.
- Sightseeing is point-to-point as per itinerary only. Any extra sightseeing or detours not mentioned will be chargeable.
- The hike takes around 4–6 hours (round trip) and involves steep walking. A basic fitness level is required. Ponies or personal assistance, if needed, are payable directly.
- One basic hot stone bath in Paro is included after the Tiger’s Nest hike. Advanced or private setups may involve extra cost.
- A professional English-speaking BTC-certified guide will accompany the group. Also, one tourist SIM card will be provided per group/booking on arrival.
- Weather in Bhutan can be cold in mornings and evenings, especially in higher regions. Thus, carry warm clothing.
- Indian Rupees are widely accepted (₹100 notes recommended). ATMs are limited; keep sufficient cash for lunches, entry tickets, and personal expenses.
- Group tours run on fixed timings. Guests are requested to be on time for departures to avoid delays for others.
- Hotels follow standard check-in/check-out timings. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability.
- Bhutan is a peaceful country. Loud music, disturbances, or inappropriate behaviour inside hotels or public areas is discouraged.
- Dress modestly while visiting monasteries and dzongs. Shoes must be removed where required. Photography may be restricted in certain areas.
- Follow the guide’s instructions at all times, especially during mountain drives and hikes.
- Expenses such as lunches, entry tickets, shopping, tips, optional activities, and personal purchases are not included unless specified.
