3. Notre Dame Cathedral

This 12th-century cathedral suffered severe fire damage on 15 April 2019 and was fully closed to the public. It reopened on 7 December 2024 after a meticulous five-year-long restoration. While the facade and interior are now accessible, you should check the official Notre Dame website for current visiting protocols before your trip. Access rules may change as the site fully integrates back into the city's tourism circuit.

France uses Type E/F plugs with two round pins. Indian Type D or M plugs will not work without an adapter, so make sure to carry one.
