  • 04Valid Passport

    As an Indian national travelling to Dubai, you shall need to produce a valid passport in order to obtain your visa. An ordinary passport can be obtained through passportindia.gov.in by applying online. An ordinary passport is valid for ten years from the date of issue and can be renewed after that. You shall need to produce the required documents for proof of birth and proof of address.

    For an Indian citizen to get an entry into the United Arab Emirates for tourism purposes, your passport must have a validity of at least six months. You can find more information about your passport validity here.
  • 05UAE Visa

    If you have travelled to the United Arab Emirates before or to other countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, the European Union, Schengen countries, Canada, Russia, Australia, Japan, New Zealand and Switzerland in the past five years, you are eligible for a visa to Dubai.  However, if you have no previous record of travel to the UAE or any of the countries mentioned above, you shall need to produce your financial records, e.g., income tax returns that can be verified.
     
    As a newlywed couple, you will need to produce your marriage certificate, the wedding card, valid photo identity proofs and a wedding photograph for verification by the authorities. 
    Since you will be applying for a tourist visa, it belongs to a special category. This visa is issued for a period of 30 days and cannot be renewed. You can obtain a tourist visa by booking a hotel in Dubai, through the Air Arabia Office or the Emirates Airlines Office, or simply through a travel agent based in India.

It is an offence to carry alcohol with you as you travel. You may consume alcohol only if you are aged above 21.

    Consuming and carrying drugs are strictly prohibited in the United Arab Emirates. If found even with a trace amount of drug on you or in your system, you can be fined and imprisoned. Kindly note that dealing in narcotics is considered a serious criminal offence and therefore may even lead to life imprisonment.     While smoking isn’t an offence in Dubai, you must be at least 18 years of age to be able to smoke. Burj Khalifa

The tallest building in the world with a height of 828 meters, Burj Khalifa in Dubai used to be known as Burj Dubai. 162 rooms and an antenna in the top of the building have given the whole tower world’s attraction from the moment it came into existence in 2008. The recent development in the garden is the mesmerizing butterfly garden opened under the name Dubai Butterfly Garden which is the world’s largest and Dubai’s first indoor butterfly garden. The garden is a haven for overly 15000 butterflies that belong to 26 different species.

Highlights: There are multiple formations on flowers which have gained international recognition within a short span of time. You can witness the old armours used in the wars like rifles, guns and cannons and other household materials like furnishings, pottery, copper etc.
