The Dubai Frame is one such marvelous attraction which is located right in the heart of Dubai, with its award-winning design that takes inspiration after a picture frame, which showcases the old and the new Dubai from a single frame.
Dubai Frame, holding up to its name in every sense, the main idea behind this architectural marvel, is to let you have an amazing, view of the city from a beautiful single frame. With its unique design and amazing construction, you can go in and walk upon the beautiful glass walkway and take in the grand Dubai in all its glory with modern Dubai on one side and the old and breathtaking Dubai on another. Also, there is a cafe where you can relax and have refreshments with a blithering view of the grand city.
The frame is 150 meters high and 93 meters wide. On the ground floor of the Dubai frame, there is a museum that showcases the transformation of Dubai into a metropolis city of the world.

How to reach to the Dubai Frame?
The Dubai Frame is well connected by roads and metros, giving the tourists more than one option to reach the place. If you’re coming by metro, you can come through red line to Al Jafiliya metro station and head towards Gate 4 AKA Star Gate of Zabeel Park. The nearest metro line is Metro – M1. Likewise, there are regular buses running through the place. The nearest bus line is Bus – 28. However, the best way to reach the location is by a cab/self-drive, which saves a lot of time. It is just a 10-minute drive to Dubai Frame from Bur Dubai.
What is the preferred mode of transport to reach the Dubai Frame?
Amongst various transport options, the most preferred one is a car. You can hire a cab from your hotel and reach the destination seamlessly. If you’d like to do self-driving, you can rent the car and enjoy driving on your own. Since the Dubai Frame is located near Zabeel Park, it is highly accessible via roads than metros. Thus, one can spend enough time with their family or friends by reaching early to the place if he is coming by car. For any doubts related to directions, you can very well ask your hotel staffs.
What are the dimensions of the Dubai Frame?
The dimensions of this great man-made masterpiece are one-of-a-kind. The frame is 150 meters high and 93 meters wide. This 50-storey building is made up of glass, gold-coloured stainless steel, and high quality aluminium. Interestingly, there is a 116 sq metres switchable smart-glass panel placed on the floor which changes from translucent to transparent. When we talk about Dubai Frame’s construction, it was designed by the award winning architect Fernando Donis who has already designed two other distinctive buildings in Dubai, namely, Dubai’s Porsche Design Towers, and the Dubai Renaissance Tower. If you’re visiting it for the first-time, it is sure to replace your memories with marvellous architecture and its unique outlook.
What all things do we need to carry?
To get the magnificent views of Dubai and explore the true brilliance of architecture, you’re requested to bring a high-definition camera and capture millions of breathtaking photos. Moreover, you need to carry your valid ID proof, just for verification purpose. In case if you failed to bring, you may not be allowed inside. In addition, you can bring your sunscreen to get less toned from the heat and a sunglass which protects your eyes from the direct sun rays. Finally, you can wear loose and comfortable wear. It helps you to stroll across the floors at ease and feel the peaceful ambiance.
Can we go inside?
Sure, why not. The Dubai Frame consists of a stunning museum, a luminous glass walkway at the bridge, interactive screens, panoramic lifts, and a lot more attractions to its visitors. One can experience the spectacular view of the sunset from the top of the bridge, explore the historical significance depicted in the museum, and take a stroll at the glass walkway and witness the glowing beauty of Dubai. Curiously, the glass-made elevator to the Sky deck carries its visitors 48 floors in less than a minute, exactly 75 seconds. Please note that only 200 visitors are allowed per hour, so it is advised to reach the destination at least one hour prior.

Museum – It showcases the transformation of Dubai from a mere fishing village to a great metropolitan city. It uses cutting-edge technology and features an array of age-old pictures. An immersive gallery called the ‘Future Dubai Gallery’ depicts you the futuristic Dubai with the help of Vortex tunnel. Glass Elevator – This elevator itself attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists per day. Its mind blowing speed takes visitors to the top within a minute. Souvenir Shop – After enjoying the 360-degree view, you can get some elegant souvenirs from the shops and fill your home’s closet. Is Dubai Frame open on weekends?
Yes, of course. The Dubai Frame is open daily from 9.00 am to 8.30 pm, on both weekdays and weekends. After emerging as one of the attractive tourist destinations in Dubai, millions of travellers like family trippers, honeymooners, solo travellers, and culture-seekers are flocking together to witness the past, present, and future of Dubai. Tourists are required to book the tickets well in advance and reach the destination as per the scheduled time. They’re allowed inside on an hourly basis, so please make sure you get in on time and experience all the attractions at your convenience.
Can we click photographs of the Dubai Frame?
Yes. You can take photographs of the Dubai Frame. However, there are certain restrictions given. Except for both the photo galleries, one can take millions of pictures throughout the place. Due to security reasons, the management is not allowing visitors to take photographs of the gallery. People can take beautiful pictures of the Dubai Frame from outside. Giving various poses like holding the frame in one hand, sliding on it, etc. everyone uses their creativity and gets some exquisite photos.
Where is Dubai Frame located?
The Dubai Frame is located at Gate 4 AKA Stargate at Zabeel Park, just 10 – 15 minutes walk from the apartments in Karama. It is strategically located at the heart of the city, at the Zabeel Park. In order to serve the main purpose of the place, i.e. giving an overview of the humble past and the remarkable future while standing in its megalopolis present, no location serves better than Zabeel Park. At the same time, this glaring beauty is close to Dubai Creek, letting visitors see aerial views of the water, etc.
Are children also charged for entry?
Yes. There is a separate fee for children to enter into the Dubai Frame. Children at the age of 0 – 3 years can enter freely. Children aged between 3 – 10 years are charged as per child fare. However, children who are above 10 years of age are considered as adults and charged as per the adult fare. Once you’ve booked the tickets, you’ll be receiving a confirmation mail which needs to be shown at the ticket counter.
