Both were calm, caring, patient, and truly skilled at what they do. Neetima Ji enriched our trip with her knowledge of the history and significance of every place we visited, their local foods and culture…making the journey feel even more meaningful. 🌄 Unforgettable Moments One moment that’s etched in my heart is a spontaneous Maggi picnic in an abandoned but beautiful hut beside the Spiti River, on our last day in Spiti. It felt like something out of a movie -  peaceful, surreal, and deeply grounding. One of the most exhilarating experiences was spotting Himalayan ibex in its natural habitat - a moment so rare and raw that it left us all in awe. Our stay in a tent under the stars in Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-China border, was surreal. The crisp mountain air, the crackling bonfire, and heartfelt conversations with fellow travelers made the nights truly special. Spiti introduced us to more than just stunning views – it offered a taste of its local culture and flavors. We sipped on the energizing seabuckthorn juice and tea, nibbled on wild strawberries, tried local bread named Babru as our Breakfast at Kaza, Delicious Siddu at Chicham bridge and tasted other authentic local dishes that carried the warmth of the people. Visiting the Key Monastery, Tabo Monestery, Dhankar Monestery and the lesser-known but deeply intriguing Gue Monastery was a spiritual and historical deep dive - each corner whispering stories of time, peace, and devotion. A particularly thrilling highlight was our midnight adventure to Langza, wrapped in layers and under a sky scattered with stars. The chill of the night was forgotten the moment we saw the Milky Way stretching across the sky and yes, we even spotted an asteroid! It was a reminder of how small we are, yet how connected we can feel to the universe. Our cameras couldn’t stop capturing these celestial wonders and the stunning landscape that surrounded us. And just when we thought the journey had given us all it could, Kalpa on the final day offered the majestic view of the Mighty Kinnaur Kailash – standing tall, serene, and glorious. It was the perfect closing note to an already soul-stirring trip. 🙏 This tour wasn’t just a getaway; it was a deep dive into a world so pure and powerful that it leaves a lasting imprint on your soul. Also all our stays were beautiful, cozy, and comforting - the kind of places that instantly make you feel at home. And the food OMG, It was so delicious, light and healthy. And on our last day of the journey because of Neetima ma’am we had the opportunity to taste Himachali dham ❤️ at Shimla, it was the best decision. Thanks to Neetima ma’am and Thrillophilia made sure we were well taken care of every step of the way. 🌟 Final Thoughts This trip wasn’t just a vacation, it was a beautifully curated experience that gave me new memories, new friendships, and a fresh appreciation for the mountains.
