Kenya Packages

Reviewed by Thrillophilia Kerala Operations Team

Updated as of June 2026

Kenya tour packages by Thrillophilia start from INR 60,000 per person for a 5-day safari itinerary and go up to INR 180,000 or more for longer, multi-country East Africa journeys. Whether you are looking for a classic Maasai Mara game drive circuit, a 7-day Kenya exploration, or an extended 9-day adventure combining Kenya with Tanzania's Serengeti, there is a well-planned itinerary to match every travel style and budget.

Kenya is a dream safari destination for wildlife lovers, offering a chance to witness the Big Five, vast savannah landscapes, and iconic experiences like the Great Wildebeest Migration. Kenya Trip Cost from India: A Realistic Budget Breakdown

The cost of a Kenya tour package from India depends on how long you stay, which parks you visit, where you sleep, and what extras you add. Safari lodges inside national parks cost more than city hotels in Nairobi, and fly-in options are far pricier than road transfers. That said, there are well-priced options across every budget category.

For a 7-day Kenya trip from India covering the Maasai Mara and Nairobi, the total spend for two people generally falls between INR 250,000 and INR 450,000, including international flights, lodges, safari drives, and meals.

What Is Included in Thrillophilia Kenya Tour Packages

Most Kenya safari packages by Thrillophilia cover the following as standard:

  • Safari lodge or tented camp accommodation, with well-located properties inside or near the park boundaries for easy morning and evening game drives
  • Daily breakfast and dinner at the lodge. Many lodges also include lunch as part of a full-board arrangement, depending on the package tier
  • Airport arrival and departure transfers between Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and your first and last lodges
  • Intercity road transfers between national parks and destinations covered in the itinerary
  • Game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles with experienced licensed guides
  • National park and reserve entry fees for all destinations listed in the itinerary
  • Giraffe Centre, Nairobi visit and other city experiences as listed in specific itineraries
  • 24/7 on-trip support from Thrillophilia's operations team

  • Travel insurance, which is strongly recommended for all Kenya tours

  • Lunch, unless specifically mentioned in the package details
  • Optional experiences, personal shopping, tips, and gratuities
  • Domestic flights within Kenya, for fly-in safari upgrades

What Makes Kenya Package Prices Go Up or Down

Lodge Category and Location

Budget bush camps near the park perimeter are more affordable than premium tented camps inside the reserve, which offer private game drives and exclusive access. Luxury lodges like those in Mara North Conservancy run significantly higher than standard options.

Safari Upgrades

A hot air balloon safari over the Mara plains at sunrise is one of the most memorable Kenya experiences, but also one of the priciest single additions, generally costing INR 30,000 to INR 45,000 per person. Private game drives and fly-in transfers also add to the base cost.

Seasonal Pricing

July to October is the peak season for most Kenya vacation packages, driven by the Great Migration and dry weather that brings wildlife closer to water sources. Lodge rates are highest during this period due to high demand. Travelling between January and March offers excellent wildlife experiences with relatively lower prices and fewer crowds.

Multi-Country Routing

Kenya travel packages also combining Tanzania's Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, or a Zanzibar or Diani Beach extension, naturally cost more than single-country Kenya tour packages.

How to Reach Kenya from India: Flights and Visa Guide

The most practical way to travel to Kenya from India is by air. Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) is the main international gateway and is connected to major Indian cities via one or two stops through Middle Eastern or African hubs.

Kenya eTA Visa Requirements for Indian Travellers, As of June 2026

Indian passport holders need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) before travelling to Kenya. Kenya replaced the traditional visa system with an online eTA process. Kenya eTA Required Documents

eTA Fee: Approximately USD 50 to USD 100 (INR 4,200 to INR 8,400 based on current exchange rate), depending on nationality and processing type

eTA Processing Time: Usually 2 to 5 working days for standard processing

How Thrillophilia Supports Your eTA Application

• Provides confirmed hotel and lodge vouchers in the required format for submission

• Provides intercity and airport transport documentation

• Provides a full pre-departure document checklist to avoid incomplete submissions

Best Places and Experiences to Include in Your Kenya Trip

Kenya vacation packages bring together an extraordinary variety of wildlife, landscapes, and culture into a single country. From the rolling savannahs of the Maasai Mara to the flamingo-pink shores of Lake Nakuru and the Indian Ocean beaches at Diani, every destination offers something genuinely different. Here are the experiences most valued by Indian travellers who have visited with Thrillophilia.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

The Maasai Mara is the crown jewel of African safari destinations. Covering around 1,500 square kilometres of open savannah, it is home to the highest density of predators on the continent and is one of the very few places where you can realistically see all of the Big Five, lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino, on a single game drive. The reserve shares an ecosystem with Tanzania's Serengeti, which means the Great Migration passes through here between July and October, with wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River in one of nature's most jaw-dropping spectacles.

Our guides in the Mara know the terrain deeply and track animal movements to maximise wildlife sightings. Travellers often highlight how this local expertise transforms a safari experience.

Sameer Garg, who booked our Masai Mara Safari Package from India, later told us, “We witnessed part of the Great Migration, and I genuinely had no words for what I was seeing. The big cats were everywhere – lions resting, cheetahs hunting, and leopards in the trees. Our naturalist guide had thirty years of experience in the Mara, and it showed in every game drive. This is the kind of experience that stays with you permanently.“

  • Best For: All travellers, first-time safari goers, wildlife photographers, families
  • Park Entry Fee: Approximately USD 80 per adult per day (INR 6,700), charged separately from package cost for some tiers
  • Best Time: July to October for the Great Migration; January to March for excellent wildlife sightings with fewer visitors
  • Tip: Morning game drives (6 AM to 9 AM) give you the best chances of seeing predators on the move

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park in Kenya is the second most popular park in the country and definitely one of the most beautiful. The Amboseli National Park is right next to Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the highest peak in Tanzania having snow on top, and you can see it from across the border. The mix of open grasslands, marshy areas, and the stunning mountain backdrop makes for some amazing photos, the kind that people love to put on their walls. One of the main reasons people love Amboseli is its huge elephant herds. They roam freely across the plains and are some of the most researched elephants in the world.

Thrillophilia ensures that travellers experience Amboseli comfortably with well-located stays and smooth transfers planned into the itinerary. Vishal Patil, our traveller from Mumbai, who booked the Kenya Wildlife Adventures | A Land of Safari & Splendors package, shared, “Amboseli National Park with Kilimanjaro perfectly framed behind a herd of 50 elephants is an image I will carry forever. Thrillophilia arranged a very comfortable eco-lodge with open views of the plains. Transfers from Nairobi were punctual and smooth.”

  • Best For: Photographers, families, elephant lovers, first-time safari visitors
  • Park Entry Fee: Approximately USD 60 per adult per day (INR 5,000)
  • Timing: Best visited year-round; driest conditions from June to October
  • Tip: Early morning drives give you Kilimanjaro clear of cloud cover and elephants near the swamp edges

Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya's Great Rift Valley, located about two hours from Nairobi, and is a favourite stop on many Kenya tour packages because of its calm, scenic beauty and easy-to-enjoy wildlife experiences. A boat ride on the Naivasha lake lets you get remarkably close to hippos, water buffalo, and hundreds of bird species, including kingfishers, African fish eagles, and pelicans. The lake area is also home to Crescent Island, a small wildlife sanctuary where you can walk among zebras, giraffes, and wildebeest on foot, something that is not possible in most national parks.

  • Best For: Families, couples, birdwatchers, travellers looking for a gentler nature experience
  • Boat Ride Cost: Around INR 1,200 to INR 2,500 per person
  • Crescent Island Entry: Around INR 3,500 to INR 5,000 per person, including guide
  • Tip: Combine with a visit to Hell's Gate National Park nearby for a cycling and gorge walk experience

Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru is most famous for its vast flamingo flocks, which have historically turned the lake shoreline a bright shade of pink. While flamingo numbers fluctuate depending on water and algae levels, the park remains one of Kenya's most rewarding wildlife destinations. It is one of the best parks in Kenya to see white and black rhinos, and also has healthy populations of lions, leopards, buffalo, and large numbers of African water buffalo. The park sits in a scenic bowl surrounded by forest and rocky escarpments.

  • Best For: Wildlife photographers, birdwatchers, rhino enthusiasts, families
  • Park Entry Fee: Approximately USD 60 per adult per day (INR 5,000)
  • Tip: Visit in the morning for flamingo viewing and the best light for photography

Nairobi: More Than Just a Transit City

Most Kenya trips start and end in Nairobi, and while many travellers treat it purely as a gateway city, it actually deserves a day or two of its own. The Giraffe Centre lets you hand-feed endangered Rothschild giraffes from an elevated wooden platform, one of the more charming wildlife encounters you will find anywhere in Africa. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a rescue and rehabilitation centre for orphaned baby elephants that you can visit during the morning feeding hour. Nairobi National Park, just 7 kilometres from the city centre, is the only national park in the world located within a capital city and allows game drives with the Nairobi skyline as a backdrop.

  • Best For: Families, first-time Africa visitors, anyone with a day to spare between safari legs
  • Giraffe Centre Entry: Around INR 1,500 to INR 2,000 per adult
  • David Sheldrick Trust: Free entry; donation requested. Morning visit at 11 AM for feeding hour
  • Nairobi National Park Entry: Approximately USD 60 per adult per day (INR 5,000)
  • Tip: Book the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage visit in advance online; morning slots fill quickly

Hot Air Balloon Safari over Maasai Mara

Watching the Mara from the ground during a game drive is already remarkable. Watching it from 300 metres up in a hot air balloon at dawn is something else entirely. The balloon rises with the sun, and you drift silently over herds of elephant and buffalo, watch hippos in the rivers below, and sometimes spot lions on a kill. The flight generally lasts about an hour and ends with a bush breakfast champagne toast in the middle of the plains. It is expensive, but most travellers who have done it say it is the single best experience of their entire Kenya trip.

  • Best For: Couples, honeymooners, serious wildlife photographers, bucket-list travellers
  • Cost: Approximately INR 30,000 to INR 45,000 per person, depending on operator and season
  • Duration: Approximately 1 hour in the air, 4 to 5 hours total, including transfers and breakfast
  • Tip: Book at least 2 to 3 months in advance during peak season (July to October). Slots go very fast

Diani Beach and Mombasa

Kenya's Indian Ocean coast is a completely different side of the country. Diani Beach, about an hour south of Mombasa by road, is widely considered one of the best beaches in Africa — 17 kilometres of white sand, clear turquoise water, and some of the finest boutique beach resorts on the continent. It makes for a wonderful 2 to 3 day extension after a safari circuit, giving you the wildlife-and-beach combination that few other destinations in the world can offer in the same trip. Mombasa's old town is also worth a half-day, with its historic Swahili architecture, Fort Jesus, and busy coastal food scene.

  • Best For: Honeymooners, couples, families, anyone wanting a beach-and-safari combination
  • Best Time to Visit: October to March for beach weather on the South Coast
  • Fort Jesus Entry: Around INR 1,500 per adult
  • Tip: Add 2 nights at Diani at the end of your safari circuit as a relaxed wind-down before your return flight

Maasai Village Cultural Visit

A visit to a Maasai village is one of the most culturally rich experiences you can have on a Kenya trip. The Maasai are one of Africa's most iconic indigenous communities and still maintain many of their traditional customs, from the adumu jumping dance and warrior training to their distinctive red shukas and intricate beadwork. A well-run community visit covers real interactions with the village rather than a staged introduction; you get to enter traditional homes, watch fire-making, and browse beadwork made by community members. The Nashulai Maasai Conservancy and Mara North Conservancy both offer respectful, community-led experiences.

  • Best For: All travellers, culture enthusiasts, families, and groups
  • Cost: Around INR 1,500 to INR 3,000 per person, depending on the operator
  • Tip: Choose community-run visits over lodge-arranged tourist demonstrations for a more genuine experience

Best Time to Visit Kenya from India

Kenya is a year-round destination, but timing matters for specific experiences. The most famous of these is the Great Wildebeest Migration, which is concentrated in the Maasai Mara from July to October. That said, Kenya offers excellent wildlife sightings across most months, and the quieter seasons come with better lodge prices and fewer visitors in the parks.

Season

Months

Temperature

Best For

Indian Holiday Alignment

Dry Season (Peak)

July to October

15°C to 28°C

Great Migration, Big Five sightings, hot air balloon, game drives

School summer holidays & Dussehra break (Oct)

Short Dry Season

January to March

18°C to 30°C

Wildlife spotting, beach at Diani/Mombasa, fewer crowds in parks

New Year holidays & winter break

Long Rains

April to June

18°C to 26°C

Budget travel, lush green landscapes, birdwatching

Not ideal; limited migration activity

Short Rains

November to December

17°C to 28°C

Light showers, green scenery, some migration in Mara

Diwali break (Nov) & Christmas holiday (Dec)

Thrillophilia Insight: For Indian travellers, the July to October peak season aligns well with school summer holidays, but this is also when lodge rates are at their highest and availability is tightest. If the Great Migration is your primary goal, book at least 4 to 5 months in advance. For a more relaxed, cost-effective trip, January to March offers very good wildlife sightings at noticeably lower prices.

Food Guide for Indian Travellers in Kenya

Kenyan food is hearty, flavourful, and more vegetarian-friendly than many travellers expect. The country's diverse communities – Swahili coast, Kikuyu highlands, and Maasai plains – each bring their own flavours, creating a food culture that feels both local and familiar. Indian travellers will especially notice familiar spice influences along the coastal belt, where centuries of Indian Ocean trade have shaped Swahili cuisine.

For Indian travellers, food preferences are often an important part of planning a Kenya trip. Thrillophilia Kenya packages include meals at safari lodges and selected stays, with breakfast and lunch/dinner commonly covered. Many lodges are experienced in accommodating Indian vegetarian preferences when informed in advance, ensuring travellers enjoy the safari experience without worrying about meal arrangements.

Traveller experiences also highlight how much the small details matter during a safari holiday.

For instance, our traveller Snehal Shah, who booked Kenya Ultimate Safari Adventure | Realm of the Big Five, mentioned, “The camp stay was comfortable, and the breakfasts were always fresh and tasty.”

Must-Try Kenyan Dishes

Nyama Choma

Kenya's most beloved street and restaurant food. Slow-roasted goat or beef over open wood fires, served with ugali (a dense maize porridge similar to thick polenta) and kachumbari salad of diced tomato and onion. Every Kenyan has a favourite nyama choma spot and strong opinions about the best cut.

Ugali

A thick maize flour porridge eaten with almost every Kenyan meal as a staple carbohydrate. Thick and dense, it is scooped by hand and used to pick up stews, vegetables, or meats. Similar in concept to India's makki ki roti, but much denser and boiled rather than baked.

Pilau

A Swahili spiced rice dish with deep roots in coastal Kenya's Indian Ocean trade history. Made with whole spices, meat or vegetables, and a slow cooking process that infuses the rice with rich, fragrant flavour. Will feel remarkably familiar to Indian travellers.

Sukuma Wiki

Kenya's everyday vegetable side dish is braised collard greens cooked with onion and tomato. Eaten with ugali at nearly every home meal. Naturally vegetarian, widely available, and a genuinely good accompaniment.

Mandazi

East African fried dough similar to a lightly sweet, cardamom-scented doughnut. Common at breakfast alongside chai tea. The coastal style is fluffier and slightly sweeter than the inland version.

Kenyan Chai

Kenya grows some of the world's finest tea in the highlands around Nanyuki and Kericho. Kenyan chai is traditionally brewed strong and milky, similar in style to Indian masala chai, and served throughout the day. At safari lodges, morning tea is a ritual worth waking up for.

Recommended Restaurants in Kenya

Based on our years of experience executing Kenya tours, we have compiled a list of some of the best restaurants in Kenya that you can visit during your trip:

Restaurant

Why Visit

Carnivore Restaurant, Nairobi

One of the most famous dining spots in Africa. Known for its game meat feast and wood-fired barbecue experience. A true Nairobi institution.

Tamarind Restaurant, Nairobi

Well-regarded coastal and international menu. Popular for its seafood and Kenyan dishes. A good choice for groups and families.

Talisman, Karen (Nairobi)

Charming garden restaurant in Nairobi's upmarket Karen suburb. Known for its relaxed atmosphere, fresh ingredients, and seasonal menu.

Ali Barbour's Cave Restaurant, Diani

Unique dining experience inside a natural coral cave near the beach. Seafood-focused menu with Swahili-inspired preparations.

Coppercreek Kitchen, Nairobi

Modern Nairobi restaurant popular with Indian travellers for its familiar North Indian and continental options. Jain-friendly dishes available on request.

Traveller Tip: Most Kenya tour packages by Thrillophilia include full-board or half-board meals at safari lodges, so you are unlikely to go hungry on the road. Indian vegetarian food is readily available in Nairobi, and most lodges can accommodate Indian dietary preferences with advance notice through our operations team.

Indian and Vegetarian Food in Kenya

Nairobi has a well-established Indian community, and Indian restaurants are easy to find in the city's Westlands, Parklands, and Upperhill neighbourhoods. Vegetarian options, including daal, sabzi, chapati, and rice dishes, are available at many of these restaurants. Jain-friendly menus can be arranged at select properties with advance notice from Thrillophilia's operations team. Safari lodge kitchens are also experienced in catering to Indian vegetarian requirements, and most can prepare dal, rice, and vegetable dishes on request.

Kenya Travel Essentials for Indian Travellers

Before your Kenya trip from India, it helps to know a few basics about money, connectivity, health requirements, and safety. These details make the trip smoother right from arrival at Nairobi airport.

Currency and Payments

Official Currency: Kenyan Shilling (KES). As of June 2026, 1 KES is approximately INR 0.55, and 1 INR is approximately 1.82 KES. USD is widely accepted across lodges, tour operators, and popular tourist areas, and most park entry fees are quoted in USD.

Nairobi's major hotels, restaurants, and shopping areas accept Visa and Mastercard. However, rural areas, local markets, and some park entry points require cash. It is practical to carry a mix of US dollars and Kenyan Shillings.

• Budget travellers: KES 2,000 to KES 5,000 cash per day (approximately INR 1,100 to INR 2,800)

• Mid-range travellers: KES 5,000 to KES 12,000 cash per day (approximately INR 2,800 to INR 6,600)

• Premium travellers: KES 12,000+ cash per day (approximately INR 6,600+)

SIM and Connectivity

Buying a local SIM at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta airport is the easiest way to stay connected. Kenya's main providers are Safaricom (M-Pesa) and Airtel Kenya. Safaricom's network is the most reliable and widely used, with good 4G coverage in Nairobi and decent coverage along major safari routes. Coverage inside national parks can be patchy, which many travellers consider part of the experience. eSIM options are available for compatible smartphones if you prefer not to swap physical SIMs.

Health and Vaccinations

Kenya requires a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate for travellers arriving from or via yellow fever endemic countries, including parts of India, if there has been a yellow fever risk area in the transit path. Check with your doctor at least 4 to 6 weeks before travel.

Malaria is present in Kenya, particularly in low-altitude areas and national park regions. Consult a travel health physician about antimalarial medication before your trip. Use insect repellent and wear long sleeves and trousers at dawn and dusk when mosquitoes are most active.

Safety

Kenya is a well-established international tourism destination and is generally safe for travellers who use basic common sense. Nairobi's tourist areas, including Westlands, Karen, and the Giraffe Centre neighbourhood, are well-managed and traveller-friendly. Inside national parks and safari lodges, safety standards are high, and guides are professionally trained.

• Use registered, licensed safari operators and vehicles. Thrillophilia works only with vetted local partners

• Avoid walking alone after dark in Nairobi's city centre or public transport areas

• Keep photocopies of your passport and eTA approval separate from the originals

• In Nairobi, use Uber or Bolt (both operate reliably) rather than unmarked taxis

• Wildlife safety: always remain inside the vehicle during game drives unless your guide gives explicit permission

Our trip to Kenya was truly perfect and an unforgettable experience. Everything was very well organised, from the planning stage to the actual execution of the itinerary. The entire journey was smooth, and we got to enjoy the beauty of Kenya without any stress. Although there were a couple of last-minute goof-ups, our sales coordinator Barnava handled everything exceptionally well. He was extremely supportive and ensured that every issue was resolved quickly and efficiently. His dedication and willingness to help made a huge difference. Honestly, without him, this trip wouldn’t have been as memorable as it turned out to be. Kudos to Barnava... Read More

Kenya trip through Thrillophilia was our retirement gift to ourselves after years of work. The Mara delivered everything we had ever seen in nature documentaries and more. Being there in person, hearing the sounds, feeling the air, smelling the grassland, no screen can replicate that. Thank you Thrillophilia for making this happen so smoothly.

My 4th trip with Thrillophilia and this one was the best. Kenya and Tanzania together — Masai Mara for three days and then crossing into Serengeti. Our guide David knew the wildebeest herd movements like a schedule, he positioned us at the river crossing point two hours before the first animals arrived. We counted over 400 wildebeest cross in 25 minutes while crocodiles waited below. Ngorongoro crater the next day, lions, elephants, flamingos on the alkaline lake, black rhino in the distance. If you have done the usual international trips and want something that rewires how you think about the planet, this is it.

Kenya Tour faqs

How far in advance should I book Kenya packages from India?

For travel during the Great Migration season from July to October, booking 4 to 5 months in advance is strongly recommended. Popular lodges inside the Maasai Mara, hot air balloon safari slots, and peak season availability fill up very quickly. For the January to March shoulder season, 2 to 3 months in advance is generally sufficient, though earlier bookings still offer better lodge rates. Off-peak travel in November and December can be booked 6 to 8 weeks ahead, though advance planning always helps with pricing.

Is vegetarian food available in Kenya?

Yes, vegetarian food is easily available in Kenya, especially in Nairobi, where Indian restaurants and international cafes serve options like dal, rice, chapati, vegetable curries, and other familiar meals. Safari lodges are also experienced in catering to dietary preferences and can prepare vegetarian Indian dishes with advance notice. Thrillophilia’s Kenya packages include meals at selected safari stays, and our operations team can coordinate dietary requirements before arrival to ensure a smoother experience. Travellers looking for Jain food or specific meal preferences can request arrangements as well in advance.

What is the biggest mistake to avoid when planning a Kenya trip?

The single biggest Kenya planning mistake is underestimating travel time between parks. The Maasai Mara is a 5 to 6-hour drive from Nairobi. Trying to cover Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Diani Beach in 5 days means spending most of your trip in a vehicle. A better approach is to choose 2 to 3 destinations and allow proper time at each. Thrillophilia's destination experts build Kenya tour packages with realistic road transfer times so you are never rushing between parks just to tick boxes.

What is the best time to visit Kenya from India?

July to October is the peak season and the best time to see the Great Wildebeest Migration in the Maasai Mara. This period also has dry weather, excellent wildlife visibility, and the most dramatic predator activity. January to March is the second-best window — good wildlife sightings with lower lodge prices and fewer visitors. April to June (long rains) is generally avoided by most travellers for its limited wildlife visibility. November to December sees short rains but still offers reasonable safari conditions.

How many days are enough for a Kenya trip from India?

Six to seven days is the practical minimum for a well-paced Kenya trip that covers the Maasai Mara, Nairobi, and at least one other destination such as Lake Naivasha or Amboseli. For a more comprehensive experience, including the Great Migration season, 8 to 9 days gives you breathing room and better wildlife sightings. A 5-day trip is workable if your main focus is the Maasai Mara only. Multi-country itineraries, including Tanzania's Serengeti, need a minimum of 8 to 10 days.

Do Indian travellers need a visa for Kenya?

Yes. Indian passport holders need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) before travelling to Kenya. The eTA is applied for online, allows a stay of up to 90 days, and is usually processed within 2 to 5 working days. The fee is approximately USD 50 to USD 100, depending on nationality and processing type. Thrillophilia provides documentation, guidance and support for all Kenya package bookings.

How do I reach Kenya from India?

There are no direct flights between India and Kenya. The most common routes are via Dubai (Emirates), Addis Ababa (Ethiopian Airlines), or Doha (Qatar Airways). Total travel time, including layover, generally ranges from 10 to 14 hours, depending on the departure city and transit hub. Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) is the main arrival point. Flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and other major cities are available with one-stop connections. Round-trip airfare generally ranges from INR 35,000 to INR 70,000 per person.

What is the Kenya trip cost from India, including flights?

For a 7-day Kenya trip from India, the total cost per person generally falls between INR 1,50,000 and INR 2,50,000 at the mid-range level, including return flights (INR 35,000 to INR 70,000), a land-only package (INR 1,10,000 onwards), an eTA visa (INR 4,200 to INR 8,400), travel insurance, and daily personal expenses. Budget-focused travellers choosing a 5-day package with economy flights can bring the total closer to INR 1,20,000 to INR 1,40,000. Premium packages with luxury lodges and private game drives run INR 3,00,000 and above.

Is Kenya good for a honeymoon from India?

Yes, Kenya is one of the most romantic honeymoon destinations available to Indian travellers. The combination of private safari drives through the Maasai Mara, sundowners on the plains, luxury tented camps with views of the savannah, and a 2 to 3-day Diani Beach extension on the Indian Ocean makes it ideal for couples. Thrillophilia offers customisable honeymoon-friendly Kenya packages with private game drives, beach stays, and hot air balloon add-ons starting from around INR 1,10,000 per adult.

What are the must-visit places in Kenya for first-timers?

For a first Kenya trip, the essential experiences are a game drive in Maasai Mara, a visit to the Giraffe Centre and David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi, and a boat ride on Lake Naivasha. If your budget allows, Amboseli, for its Kilimanjaro views and elephant herds, is a strong addition. The Maasai village cultural visit and a hot air balloon safari over the Mara are among the most memorable optional upgrades you can add.

What is the starting price of Kenya tour packages from India?

Thrillophilia's Kenya holiday packages start from INR 60,000 per adult for a 5-day Maasai Mara safari itinerary. A mid-range 7-day package covering Amboseli, Nairobi, and Maasai Mara generally costs between INR 1,10,000 and INR 1,55,000 per adult. Premium 9-day Kenya tour packages combining Kenya and Tanzania start from INR 1,70,000 to INR 1,80,000. All prices listed are land-only and do not include India to Nairobi return flights.
