We took a weekend break from the city life of Coimbatore to explore the Nilgiri foothills and the Marudhamalai Temple. The views of the Western Ghats from the top are refreshing, especially during the early morning. Thrillophilia's local coordinator, Manoj, was very helpful in suggesting the best local eateries for authentic Kongu cuisine.

Ella mein stay toh ek alag hi experience tha — misty mountains, chai ke baagaan, and the famous Nine Arch Bridge. Our local guide Nuwan was brilliant and full of interesting stories.
