We have loved our experience with Thrillophilia. Harshvardhan and team were always on toes whenever reached out with concerns. Driver was very cordial and soon became an integral member of our group. Hotel staff were nice, but room facilities require some upgrade. Overall, had a happy trip with Thrillophilia as always. Will recommend my friends and family to take a trip with Thrillophilia. Thanks Harshvardhan for your commitment.

Trip started from Guwahati with Nayan as our guide and driver. We covered all the points, towns and states. We had memories of a lifetime like for example seeing Rhinos, Caves, Tawang monastery etc. Also ground staff like Indraneil and Indrajit were very sincere in their help. No travel company can get better ground staff than these two people. Also Nayan was excellent in his knowledge, courageous and displayed patience when we got stranded at Sela pass. Overall, I'd recommend this trip package to young couples. And don't forget to keep extra provisions of water and food in case of bad weather in places like Sela pass, Tawang, etc.

We had a good time. The driver was very good. Rigsel and Timilo were very good hotels. And we covered most places in sight seeing. There was readjustments to be done due to weather conditions. They were also very professionally managed. No hassles in The trip. We were are very happy with our vacation.

About Arunachal Pradesh From Mangalore

Reviewed by Thrillophilia Operations Team

Arunachal Pradesh Tour Packages From Mangalore generally suit travellers planning a 7 to 10-day holiday, with prices varying by itinerary and accommodation. Flying via a connecting airport to Guwahati, followed by road travel, is a practical way to reach the region. The trip can cover Bhalukpong, Dirang, Bomdila and Tawang, with monastery visits, Himalayan drives and mountain sightseeing. October to April is generally a favourable period for travel, although winter weather can affect high-altitude roads.

Packages range from INR 24,000 to INR 50,000 per person across the available options. A week or longer helps because reaching Tawang involves several hours of mountain driving, and overnight stops in places such as Dirang and Bomdila break up the journey. Longer itineraries can include additional stops or combine Arunachal Pradesh with Assam, rather than squeezing every destination into a rushed schedule.

For travellers planning an Arunachal Pradesh Trip From Mangalore, the journey requires some coordination because there is no direct flight from Mangalore to Tawang. Flights with connections to Guwahati are worth checking first, followed by road transfers into Arunachal Pradesh. Rail travellers can take a train from Mangalore towards Guwahati, but the onward road journey remains necessary.

The route matters as much as the destination. A Tawang-focused Arunachal Pradesh Tour From Mangalore usually progresses through Bhalukpong, Dirang and Bomdila before reaching Tawang. These stops help travellers adjust to changing elevations and avoid treating the mountain drive as a single exhausting stretch. Ziro Valley itineraries follow a different route and are better suited to travellers interested in Apatani culture, valley landscapes and festival experiences.

October and November generally offer clearer conditions for sightseeing, while March and April bring milder spring weather in many areas. December to February can be very cold around Tawang, with snowfall and road closures possible. Monsoon months from June to September can bring heavy rain, landslides and travel delays, so leave some flexibility in the schedule.

Tawang is the main highlight for travellers interested in Himalayan scenery and Buddhist heritage. Visit Tawang Monastery, explore local markets and, subject to weather and permits, consider excursions towards Sela Pass, Bum La Pass and Madhuri Lake. Dirang offers a quieter mountain-town stop, while Bomdila adds monastery visits and valley views.

Travelers choosing places to visit in Arunachal Pradesh beyond the Tawang circuit can explore Ziro Valley, known for its Apatani cultural heritage and green landscapes. The available itineraries also include options around Itanagar and Nameri National Park, with selected packages combining Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. The range of things to do in Arunachal Pradesh includes monastery visits, scenic drives, photography, local food experiences and nature walks.

Enjoyed the natural beauty of Arunachal Pradesh and soaked in the peaceful monastic vibes. We had a fun group and the driver was very nice and helpful too. Facilities were basic, but decent for the remote region. Felt that a guide to explain the various monasteries would make the trip even more enriching. But overall, completely satisfied and content with my experience. Fourth trip with Thrilliophilia after Sikkim, Spiti and Bhutan. More to come!

Arunachal Pradesh was on my list for years and Thrillophilia sorted everything inner line permits, restricted area permits, all in advance. Tawang monastery at dawn with prayer flags in the wind and the mountains behind. The Bumla Pass at the India-China border at 15,200 feet. Our local guide Tashi Norbu knew the area as well as his own home and was full of stories about the 1962 border history. This is not an easy destination to plan independently and having a team that had done it before made all the difference.

Arunachal Pradesh is India's most spectacular and least explored state - and this tour proves exactly that. Tawang Monastery sitting at 10,000 feet with snow around it is an image I won't forget anytime soon.

Darun North East trip, ki bolbo aar ekhane! Tawang Monastery in the early morning fog was one of the most spiritual experiences of my life. Arunachal's untouched nature made me feel far away from every city problem. Khub bhalo arrangement throughout, nothing went wrong even in such remote areas. Every Indian should discover their own Northeast before going abroad!

Departure City:kolkata

Arunachal trip, ki bolbo aar, eta India er luko boro aschhorjo! Tawang monastery is one of the most impressive Buddhist sites I've visited anywhere in Asia. The drive through steep mountain passes was nerve-wracking but scenery was khub bhalo throughout. Ziro Music Festival atmosphere was vibrant and incredibly unique. Proud to have explored this part of India!
