Travelling to Kufri does not require a Covid-19 negative certificate. There is no need for home/ institutional quarantine. However, thermal screening shall be done for all the passengers. Night curfews (8pm - 6am) extended in Mandi, Kangra, Shimla and Kullu till Jan 5, 2021. People advised to maintain social distance and keep an eye on their health.

The temperature falls to subzero levels, covering the valley with snow and frost. The monsoon months last between July to September. During this time, the temperature falls to a fairly low level, although rainfall is scanty.
