Salford Quays in Salford, Greater Manchester, England is home to The Lowry, a theater and art complex. From different eras of the city, the Lowry collection contains around 400 oil, pastel, and watercolor paintings. The Salford Museum and Art Gallery began collecting it in the 1930s, while the theaters feature traveling productions of dramas, comedies, and musicals, as well as Opera North.

Once a huge fortress is now a modern-day city center and what's left of the Swansea castle is one of the top tourist attractions in Swansea. The Castle was built in the early 12th century and the remains that you can have a look at go back to the late 13th and 14th centuries.

Salford Quays is a neighborhood in Greater Manchester, England, close to the Manchester Ship Canal's terminus and known to be one of the best tourist places to visit in Salford. After the dockyards were closed in 1982, the area underwent one of the first and largest urban redevelopment initiatives in the UK making it a popular place to visit in Salford.
