The Dylan Thomas Centre Overview

Another place on the list of tourist places to visit in Swansea is dedicated to the famous writer Dylan Thomas. The Dylan Thomas Centre was opened by US President Jimmy Carter and is home to all literary and cultural objects. The Centre is also home to the permanent exhibition called "Love the words" which was opened on Dylan's 100th birthday on the 27th Oct 2014.

The Dylan Thomas Centre has an amazing collection of memorabilia, photos, and works based on this life. The collection contains many rare manuscripts, photographs, books, artworks, and also original sound recordings. You can find many learning and outreach officers who give several talks and provide a lot of information about Dylan's work and life. You can explore the interactive displays, look at different objects and learn more insights about work, and life from one of the significant writers.
