Guide was very helpful

The trek was great and super beautiful but there were a few things that seemed quite confusing from the logistics end. The start point here says McLeodganj - but we were told to come to another spot as the start point. I had to call customer support a few times to get actual info. I got to know that my trek starts the next day at 9am at 9pm the night before. But once we were in the hands of the guide, everything was very smooth. Loved that it was homely and friendly. Also, the trek is really not as easy as it seems. Lots and lots of big rock steps and it gets quite difficult to do 13kms of only steps in one day also having done a trek to Kareri the day before. This is something that needs to be mentioned because someone with any sort of knee injury or no fitness training probably shouldn’t go for this trek as it can be very hard on the knees. 

Kerrari trek was fantastic. But the food provided can be improved.

We trekked to Karari lake on 27/01/2021,We had a memory to cherish forever.First day we had camping in kareri village and next day we trekked to kareri lake. Enroute we enjoy the Nature we crossed the bridge that's like kumbhu fall Enroute to Everest ????.The lake was almost frozen.We had snow fall at night at the lake where we camped for the night. It's first time most of the trekker enjoyed the snowfall.But it continued for the entire night that made him like snow storm.The high velocity wind made home like tempest.The next day at Lake gave us feeling like we are in glacier. It also scared many roookie trekker. We were in news for being stranded at Lake and next day a article in newspaper said that chopper permission was also taken to help stranded.So with little money we had a amazing time at this trek.The company and assistance provide by our guide were commendable.The composer shown by them was commendable.First day we enjoyed greenery and bubbling sound of stream and next day we enjoyed Snow White,glacier like feeling.Yeah it was bit tough but that's the way we trekker choose.So plan for the trek and feel the kick

The best experience I could get could considering that it was my first Trek,the picturesque locations and the admirable hospitality was something someone can only dream of.Though due to off season in December my group was not able to complete the trek but whatever we witnessed was something neither of us can forget.The camping under a boulder is something I can never forget.The best thing of this trek is that you will always find a dog companion who will keep you motivated on this trek...

The place is really awsome ....neverending experience for biggners......the most beautiful trek in North zone ........ The water is the best thing I saw ......as it was so clean that v can drink it any way along the trek .........

Went for this trek a while back. It really started as a spur of the moment decision to do some off-roading with a new set of SUV tyres (Apollo Apterra, if you are wondering), which soon turned into a crazy ride from Chandigarh to Karerilake Himachal. The easy availability of this trek made it the best choice for our group (4 guys without much baggage). Left the Jeep back in a paid parking (there are many in the ganj), and embarked on one of the most exciting treks I have joined. The beauty of Himachal takes your breath away every single time (this was my 5th trek in the state) and the stays organised for us were quite scenic. Planning to go back with more friends soon.

It was so cold but to be frank, we had the best time of our lives. We haven't done such difficult treks before. So it was challenging from the start to end. With the beautiful peaks of Himalayas in the background, the place looked enormously beautiful. We loved the views so much. Staying was also very difficult as it was too cold inside the tents. But the guides helped us a lot to have a comfortable time. Thank you so much folks. Thank you Thrillophilia.
