Indrahar Pass
An extremely
popular trekking route from Dharamshala, the trek to Indrahar Pass trails in
the lush folds of the Dhauladhar range. Surrounded by thickets of Deodars and
Rhododendrons, the panorama of Pir Panjal range to the north and the plains to
the south exhilarates trekkers. Treacherous precipices and steep ascents make
this a moderately-difficult trek; passing through Triund Hill and an endless
view of Kangra Valley. Overnight camping in the Lahesh caves is an experience
that’ll leave you transfixed, and the trekking season runs from May to October.

Chamunda Devi Temple
Just 15 km away from Dharamshala, Chamunda Devi Temple is one of
the most important places to visit in Chamba. Chamunda Devi Temple is an
important pilgrimage place for Hindus located on the banks of river Baner. The
temple is completely made up of wood and was built by Raja Umed Singh in 1762
and has a gabled roof, the only one in whole of Chamba.
The temple is also famously
known as Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham and is believed to be the abode of Shiva
and Shakti. The main shrines in the temple are of Lord Hanuman and Lord
Bhairav.
Previously, the devotees had to
climb around 378 steps to reach the temple, but now, the newly built road is an
easy way to reach the temple, which is 3 km from Chamba.
Bhagsu Falls
Being in closed vicinity of the popular Bhagsunath Temple of
Lord Shiva, this waterfall is known as the Bhagsu Falls. Spending a day here is
one of the most exhilarating things to do in Mcleodganj. It is not only famous
as a picnic spot but is also a significant place of pilgrimage. The sight of
this 20 M tall waterfall is like a heaven on earth during monsoons. One can
also cherish the delicious food served in the cafeteria near the falls. If you
wish to add on to the excitement of this excursion, then you have a choice of
trekking to these falls through the beautiful vistas. Carry your camera and
capture the enticing exquisiteness of Mother Nature.Timings:

The best experience I could get could considering that it was my first Trek, the picturesque locations and the admirable hospitality was something someone can only dream of.Though due to off season in December my group was not able to complete the trek but whatever we witnessed was something neither of us can forget. The camping under a boulder is something I can never forget. The best thing of this trek is that you will always find a dog companion who will keep you motivated on this trek...
Went for this trek a while back. It really started as a spur of the moment decision to do some off-roading with a new set of SUV tyres (Apollo Apterra, if you are wondering), which soon turned into a crazy ride from Chandigarh to Karerilake Himachal. The easy availability of this trek made it the best choice for our group (4 guys without much baggage). Left the Jeep back in a paid parking (there are many in the ganj), and embarked on one of the most exciting treks I have joined. The beauty of Himachal takes your breath away every single time (this was my 5th trek in the state) and the stays organised for us were quite scenic. Planning to go back with more friends soon.
awsm experience. the surroundings were too beautiful. we even experienced the snowfall during our trek. thans for such an amazing experience
The place is really awsome ....neverending experience for biggners......the most beautiful trek in North zone ........
The water is the best thing I saw ......as it was so clean that v can drink it any way along the trek .........
The time we spent there was the best peaceful time we had during the entire trip. The campsite is situated at a peaceful location and we can even go for nature walks there. The bonfire and the light music in the evening make it much more soothing and fun. The staff there was always available to help and they were very friendly. We loved camping in Dharamshala. It is a completely different experience from camping in a crowded city.
This trek was amazing and the camp was surrounded with the mountains and snow and the view was very beautiful from the top, the instructor was funny and polite in nature and the food was tasty we all enjoyed the time there and have lots of memories for lifetime, our group was fabulous.
As an adventure lover I visited many places but this was one of the best where I do trekking, and camping but the best part was the bonfire with live music, the guide was professional and the food was little bit spicy but I enjoy this trek a lot. Highly recommended as this is not so difficult so freshers can also do this.
When I was in Himachal Pradesh with my friends so one of them suggest me to visit Kareri trek which was nearby so I book the trek from Thrillophilia and it was very good experience we had. Recommended for you.
