i had always read about the Chanderi trek in history , and always thought of visiting the location. Its very easy to be there , we boarded from the at Ghatkopar Railway Station in Mumbai in the morning for Karjat. after reaching there we were guided by the trek guides and instructors who led us to the outstanding trek to Chanderi.

i had read about chanderi in context to marthas empire, this was possibly a military base at that time. and when we went there we came to know more about the locations y our tour guides. Now the entire location is a trekking point and tourist destination, and so its always crowded by tourists.

Easilly accssible and easy trekking, being a trekker i had no difficulty on embarking. A very short trekking it was, but the nearby beauty of the place adds a great advantage to the place.

we saw idol of lord Shiva inside the cave which was so spectacular, i just can't tell you guys, if you love trekkinga and if you are looking for some historic places as well, then this the point where you should consider. This trekking expedition made our trip memorable. Even the photographs that we shot there looks awesome. There is a very fine reservoir of potable water near the cave. Would love to go there again!!!!

I wont recommend this trek for your family expedition,because when we reached at the top of the pinnacle, it has become extremely difficult for us to stay. We loved the shiva idol inside the cave. Trully its an historic location for everyone.Coming to trekking, its a moderate trek with panaromic views all around the place.

it feels amazing on reaching the top, you will enjoy and witness those panoramic views underneath the cave, and while trekking down the cave you will experience the thrill. Chanderi Trek is a short trek and most enjoyable one, the weather is also moderate that adds an extra advantage to the expedition.
