Jodhpur is one of the most beautiful cities in the state of Rajasthan. There are various things to do in Jodhpur, if you share love for history. The blend of century old tradition and modernisation, the city has witnessed magical transformation. It is the second largest city in the state and is known as the Blue City. The theme fits better because of the architectural and blue themed homes. Temples, forts and havelis carry vivid shades of blue. Forts that are built at the towering hills give a spectacle view of the city. One of these forts is the Mehrangarh which has eight gates and rocky ridge. The city is also known for the rare breed of horses also known as the Marwari or Malani, which are only found in this city. There are many things to do in Jodhpur, and one such is to explore the forts and palace which makes this city proud.

The prosperous and glorious past of the Jodhpur is still prevalent in city in today's time. The culture and tradition is still followed even though the modernisation has overtaken the thoughts. There are many attractions in this city including- Umaid Bhawan Palace, Moti Mahal, Mehrangarh Fort, Sheesh Mahal, Mahamandir Temple, Ghanta Ghar, etc. Jodhpur is also known for celebrating some colourful festivals with full-fledge. The festival also showcases the lifestyle of the city. Ranakpur Festival, Matsya Festival, Shree The Sacred Festival and many more makes it worth exploring. Jodhpur is certainly one of the beautiful cities that can bring smile and exploring nature of yours. Spending time here will give a chance to weave some wonderful memories that would stay lifelong.
